But speaking of WTA, has anyone noticed that Aroma's site is down? While poking around earlier I found that the FDA had issued them a warning letter in
This is Jerry's response when I asked why the site is down...
"Our SSL cert expired. It should get fixed tomorrow. If you need to place an order please let me know. We have a secure option if needed."

@Rossum Great thread. We stocked up a awhile ago when all this deeming stuff started so now we're just re-evaluating. Gotta do an inventory of our nic so I know if we need to add any this fall and will stock up on the Zenith coils and maybe a few replacement tanks. I've smashed a glass tank or 2 in the past.

I have a 510 die somewhere. Got it a long time ago. I’ll have to dig it up and pass on the specs.
Would appreciate that. I bet I have one in the garage.

If they ever outlawed carpentry, plumbing, electrical and mechanical work, I’m totally prepped.

Squeezer $25
Coppervape $35
armageddon $55
Dotsquonk $99

These are some of my less expensive but perfectly functional, including over time, mech squonkers.
One more step up to like $150, and you can get a Reo - perhaps the original vapocolypse mod...:)

I found this, is it the one you’re talking about?

Feels like we're building bomb shelters.
The house I grew up in, that my father built had a bomb shelter. It slept 8, 500 gallon water tank, BR, and canned goods for months. Great place to take a date as a teen.:D

When my dad sold the house 15 years ago. He turned it into a wine cellar. The new owner loved it.

Back on topic: Has anyone tried LNW nic? Thinking about getting another gallon. I only have 30 years of nic in the freezer. But I am making juice for friends now.

I've been vaping over 9 years so I've weathered more than one scare and stocked up along the way. I'm 71 and have 1 litre of 60mg nic,1 litre of 100mg and 3 litres of mixed base. I have several tanks and pv's. I'm sure most of you have a lot more than me but I've never broken a glass tank and the only pv's I've lost thus far have been 20w iSticks.

I use LNW nic salts, taste nuetral, clear very slight amber color, work great. Haven't tried their freebase.

    same

i'm 40, and jealouf of all these 60+ year olds who buy 1 litre to see them out

a litre lasts me 1 year, and i might keep going 30 years or more

I'd buy it and freeze it just for security. It's that or resigning yourself to vaping unflavored zero nic if the FDA manages to outlaw nic one day (some are fine doing that). Who knows what will happen in the next 2 or 3 decades.

I reduced my nic level from 24mg back in 2010 to 3mg today and I'm satisfied with it. I've been DIYing my juice for several years. I vape about 8 to 10ml of 3mg/ml juice a day (a couple of Kayfun tanks). I'm late 60s and 2 liters will last me 18 years. It's in the freezer now.

Mine is buried someplace. Don't know if it's in my bone box or tool box but she's buried someplace. Someone listed the sizes in an earlier post. Check that out. They also listed the blind die which can be used for the 510 in mods.

What is your final nic concentration?

Well I’m 56, but my mom is 89. A lot of women in my family have lived well into their 90s on both my mom and dad’s side.

My Mom will turn 90 in December. I don't know how long I'll live. Grandparents on my Dad's side lived into their late 80s and early 90s. On my Mom's side it was 60M and 84F.

    UK & much further East.
Don't have much to contribute other than my support and best wishes to you all in count down land.

Keeping an eye on developments as anything could happen here too. Despite broad support for vaping from many official depts, there are plenty of nutters in positions of power and influence here too.

If sometime down the road I can help from the UK and further East, I'll do my best. Maybe trans-atlantic clandestine carrier pigeons?

Hey, finally another flashaholic! I seem to keep my problem in check, though (a while after I start seriously considering a high-end ;)). I only have a couple dozen or so lower end 10440, 14500, and 18650 ones - maybe a couple medium-end. But it seems I start going crazy again once I need to replenish the ones that have started to fail. My newest crop after an ~8 year hiatus all seem to be excellent though. And I'm gaining the equipment and knowledge to fix/upgrade them now. So it remains to be seen if I get more, ATM. :D

All I have are Trustfire/Ultrafire 10440 & 14500's. They don't seem to be bad, really. Obviously overstated mah ratings, but I knew that going into it. They've held up pretty well for the past 3/4 years so far. But I might could be considered a lighter flashlight user. I mainly just keep them at each and EVERY SINGLE spot I might need them.. For before forgetting what I'm looking for, I can instinctively reach for one of the plentiful conveniently-located flashlights. :)

I've always loved bright flashlights. That began in Boy Scouts. There's nothing like having the brightest flashlight in the crowd! I don't spend the big bucks, but I have about ten around the house in strategic locations. We lose power for an hour or so several times a year, maybe longer when a storm hits and trees go down.

My favorites right now are the Cree T6 LED lights from Amazon. They are Chinese made, but three of them for $20 is a deal, so I bought 2 packs. They are well made and use a single 18650 or 21700 cell. I can't see myself paying over $200 for some of the Streamlight models. These are only 800 lumens but they can light up the backyard with a wide swath of bright white light for 150' or more and they adjust focus from wide to narrow. They are great lights for keeping in each area of the house for power failures and small enough to slide into a pocket. I haven't had one fail yet.

In the four generations I am familiar with, the men all died young. My brothers all lived longer than any of our predecessors, who died mostly in their 30-40s.

Only one aunt died at 60, on my dad’s side, my paternal grandmother was 93, paternal great grandma 98, and great aunt was 94.

On my mom’s side, my grandma was 84, her sisters lived to 86, 90 something, and 94. Their daughters are hitting their 90s now.

    It terrifies me.

Flashlights are a bit off topic, but the flashlight folks might be our best friends if the time came when we couldn't buy mods. And they would definitely be with us if there was pressure to stop the retail sale of lithium batteries.

Hey Hoggy. Been a member of Candle Power Forum since 04-30-2007. I have seen alot of advancement in the LED's since then and have settled into a few that I EDC now. I still have a fairly good collection, as I went crazy in my first several years as a Flashaholic. I am doing the same thing now with vaping.

My light collection now. Not even half of what I've had over the years.

I agree. Some of the necessary components of our vape, like lithium cells are common items for other uses. PG and VG have other uses, and so does Rayon, Cotton, and coil wire (wire used for flower arranging). All we have to do is freeze some Nic to ensure a supply.

But, if the power's off, you need a flashlight to see how to fill a tank! :)

Now that I'm starting to not inhale nic vapor, I'm worried that I may not have enough MTL RTA's (are MTL RDA's even a thing?).

So how does one find out about good [Edit: rebuildable-only] MTL stuff, that isn't just a paid advertisement by vape reviewers - Youtube or elsewhere?

Note that I get ALL my stuff from China, so hopefully that won't be affected (Gotta LOVE China for their roguishness! ). But I still might want to fill out this newly-acquired portion of my vaping arsenal, just in case.

We have a thread for that ;)

Tootle Puffers, Part Three! (The Sequel of the Redux)

My personal favorites for MTL are the now gone (or at least rare) KF2L, and the Coppervape Skyline. https://www.fasttech.com/products/0/10036423/7935300-coppervape-skyline-styled-rta-rebuildable-tank and spare glass :) https://www.fasttech.com/products/0...acement-glass-tank-for-coppervape-skyline-rta
