Somewhere out there
This was the first mod I ever built for her, it was a DNA20. It was a 3D printed mod by a Modder named Bapgood.
You can still find his DIY mod parts on Shapeways. They come white and then you paint them to suit you.

If they are that ill-informed I would find another doctor.
Yeah after these ignorant comments I heard from her at that last appointment I definitely am looking at switching doctors. I’m just afraid the others may also be misinformed like she has been by the FDA & CDC who are using these deaths as an excuse to further demonize nicotine vaping. & unfortunately I live in a very rural area where we don’t have a lot of doctors to choose from.

I believe many of these doctors look at vaping in the wrong context. Vaping typically includes nicotine. They see that as not good so therefore vaping is not good. But the correct context is the healthiness of vaping vs smoking. That's where they do not make the comparison.

When a decision is based on a flow chart "decision tree" and where liability or institutional sanctions arise if one deviates from approved protocols then there is little mental flexibility for evaluative thought. It is educated out of most. There is little ability to "think outside the box"; in fact most can't even bare to approach the edges of the box let alone its outside. No nicotine = good; nicotine = bad, deviate from that thought process at your peril then explain it to the Quality Assurance Committee or the jury if things go awry.

May you never have a constellation of signs or symptoms that fall outside the protocol or decision tree. "Idiopathic" the perfect answer to the unknown.

Hey, Frannie, we can always go back to building our own Altoid tin mods.

But yes, I'd rather call @mikepetro and beg him to build me a nice mod with one of his Evolv boards. I'm sure he has plenty of those stashed somewhere in his garage... :sneaky:

You can have a medical degree and still be like, lacking common sense.

Medical professionals are as susceptible to propaganda as anyone else. NO OFFENSE med people but I was gonna BE one and only the fact that I had a wee one and NO ability (as a bipolar person) to get through residency stopped me.

I'm a good social worker but a better doctor (at least in my chosen fields of specialty) than many doctors, to be honest. But I moderated a couple psych sites one of which involved (as a mod) having to have two citations for any answer you gave and like NCBI type citations.

Docs look at me all sideways when I start going on about it. LOL, I think I scare some of them.

    Anna

But, a field of study is still just and only that. There are tons of times with my pdoc where I tell him stuff and he has to look it up to believe me.

Also, when mine RETIRES? OMG the ONLY way to get a pdoc to listen to you is to let them break you... and then in my case, listen to me say, non stop 24-7. "I told you so. You didn't listen. Look at me now. This is no fun for me. I'm planning to call you at 2 am tonight, just to let you know how I am doing."

One doc broke me so badly he offered me another doc.

He did not get off the hook so easily. NOPE. I mean it sort of sucked for me, he put me on Depakote for a year (I had a judge's court ordered treatment doc, lucky me.) My doc made sure I did not get off Depakote for a year (I gained like 79 lbs that year) but afterwards it was worth it...

Also it's nice to say when vaping an altoids mod "This vape is curiously strong!" Maybe that's just me though...

I’m still stocking up. Looking at a few more mods and tanks. I need opinions on if I should get another aegis solo or try an Eleaf istick Pico instead. Opinions? I’m loving the solo but I have three. Also, any recommendations on an easy to refill rba tank that holds around 4 ml?

I’d go for the Pico to give you something different.:)

I don't know if you can get them anymore, but the OBS engine nano is a favorite of mine. Easy to wick, easy to coil, and easy to fill.

stuck in a squishy pod called my brain
Been thinking about the flavor bans...sure writing letters of protest to govt officials is part of it... But we need to boycott spending money period..vaping is way cheaper than smoking thus the savings ends up in our communities.. We are better off avoiding as much spending as possible to show them the tax revenues they are missing out on across the board. & put that in the memo to them also.

Make smarter purchases.. Ie I traded my not very old low mileage suv in for a new crossover.. Gained about 25% in better gas mileage... Which is perfect cuz the oil industry always creates a scare to prop up gas prices. (I have no doubt recent Saudi drone attack was designed by big oil).

We like to eat out..both chain +mom&pop..we will continue to eat mom&pop...but not chain.

Not much reason for us to shop for other items as we don't need much if anything.

My point is.. Your checkbook speaks louder than a plea/whine in their eyes.
