Well. If they were to put a ban on nicotine. It would also devastate the tobacco industry. Also all the foods that have nicotine content.

I havent seen anything beyond flavors being talked about yet either. However, it doesnt take a rocket scientist to figure out that if you remove access to nicotine, all of the others issues involving flavors and hardware become mute. All it would take would be one announcement by the Oval Office and the implementation of restriction could be swift.

This whole THC vaping thing killing kids is a snowball that could swallow up our whole supply chain. Kids are dying, the public wouldnt care if we get thrown out with the bathwater.

True, but they have ways of licensing nicotine distribution. Kind of how they handle pharmacy drugs.

Agreed. Wouldn’t be hard to regulate concentrated nicotine sales at all.

Good luck regulating Flavors and PG/VG, but nic would be easy.

They did it in the UK. A business can buy bulk nic at any strength, individuals are limited to 18mg in 10 ml bottles. I'm not sure who would issue that rule but I'm sure someone can do it, probably overnight.

Technically the FDA already can by my interpretation since it is a tobacco product. In fact some places are already requiring you to provide the documentation to show you are an FDA approved "manufacturer" for higher strengths. I don't think they have been told they have to yet, but see the writing on the wall.

FDA should have been more focused on drug safety

This is the second time in recent months Valisure has petitioned the FDA about the potentially cancer-causing impurities it has found in drugs approved by the agency. In June, it said it had discovered a connection between certain solvents that were approved for use in drug manufacturing and the existence of NDMA in certain heart meds. It suggested the FDA set standards for the use of the solvents.

FDA needs to recall Zantac and other ranitidine antacids, says pharmacy that uncovered impurity

The saddest thing I have come to realize from what I have found is that there has been a problem for some time with tainted illegal oils that has not been properly addressed by law enforcement. They have been causing illness a lot longer than this current spat, only in non vaping form. The FDA analyzed samples and turned the matter over to the DEA saying it was a drug enforcement problem because they did not have jurisdiction over the oils. The DEA did nothing with it saying they were engaged in more pressing matters of fentanyl and opioids. My hypothesis is that more recently a black marketer decided to use the same tainted illegal oils in vape cartridges.

So it seems Nicotine is one thing to stock up on with the incoming band, regulations, etc...

What else should someone stock up on? PG/VG, flavors, tanks, etc...? Would some kindly create a list of the most important to least important items that most believe should be stocked up on?

Nicotine is #1

(VG, PG, and flavors are all safe, as they are sold primarily for other uses)

RTA's and RDA's are #2, as buying coils will be difficult after deeming..

Mods are #3.. good to have a few, most of us are looking at a 10 year supply of regulated, since boards won't last forever..

with a couple of mechanical mods, for those who know how to operate them safely.. (they have no board to go bad, but zero safety features)..

rebuildables RTA/RDA, drop in coil tanks for back up and lots of coils for when we get too old to rebuild
replaceable batt mods, a few mech's also

Tanks were #2 on my list.
#3 would be coil cartridges if you do not use rebuildable coils. I prefer rebuildable so it was a non-issue for me.
Next in my book was mod parts so that I could build/repair my own.

PG. VG, flavorings, wire, and cotton/rayon were not on my list at all as they have many other non-vape uses, and will always be available.

Man, I’ve been vaping for near 10 years now and somehow I’ve gone all this time not understanding the lingo, lmao.

So, I’ve never got into rebuildables, but I guess it’s time to do so, along with stocking up on a few coils as well for my tanks.

Thanks, any other tips please share.

Concentrate on the nic.

Hardware like tanks and mods will still be around on the international market, but nic will be harder to find and heavier (more expensive) to ship.

You know whats also funny, it was bound to happen once cuomo gave the ok for the medical mj to be depensed in vapor form by C.Care...almost immediately after they started selling at 90.00 a pop the illicit market followed at 45.00 to 35.00. Then came the backyard brewer's.They even have cool bright trucks driving around town selling candy flavoured eatibles..I quess those flavors are great and not advertised for the young public, Im just saying. We paid the price no matter what. Im willing to bet my life that some of the doctors against flavor vapes have some dealings with the med mj business here in New York...

Just ordered three Pico 75's at the $15.74 price ($10 shipping from Hong Kong) Total was $58 and change. They took PayPal, so Easy Peasy.
I do like the Pico IStick's there all I use now, I have 3 Holm Wrecker G2's put back plus a Smok Alien Gunmetal that only has about 200 vapes on it. But I always just use the IStick with a Kayfun 5.

I was stocked in 2016 but I have added more tanks and coils, mods. This gov't we have is really POing me off!
Same here. I have been mad at my hoarding until this new gongshow started. Now I’m happy with everything I have bought with slight regret that I didn’t start stocking up in 2018/19 vs 2015/16 (newer equipment). :thumb:
