I decided a long time ago that I'd rather have too much (and have some left when I croak) than to wake up some morning, old and feeble, having run out, and wishing I had bought more back when it was cheap and readily available.

Which brings up a point I'd like to make. All my nic in my vape fridge freezer that is bottled in glass it didn't come in is in plastic bags inside el cheapo locking cash boxes with appropriate warning labels saying poisonous nic is inside with strength and date of purchase, the appropriate skull and crossbones, and warning about disposal. These boxes aren't meant to keep anyone out that really wants in, but are in case my wife and I came to an untimely demise.

Spoken like a true accountant. :)
I took two semesters of accounting a million years ago. It appealed to my compulsive/persnickety side. Probably would have been much happier if I'd stuck with it rather than going into editing.
Which one did you order?
A Nesco VS-02. It'll do.
That's what I said when I got the ultrasonic cleaner. I believed myself when I said it.
I put a lot of food in my freezer along with my nic. I'm already thinking about how much easier it's going to be to freeze the ten pounds of haddock I'll be buying in the fall, compared to dipping the fish in gelatin or repeatedly in water to coat each filet with ice.

I drew a clumsy skull and crossbones and scrawled POISON underneath it and then taped my masterpiece onto the container into which I stuffed my bottles of nic.

I never did that but I guess I should. It's a small box freezer with nothing but nic inside, I could write something up and stick it in an envelope taped to the door.

So placed an order with Apothecary. 8 n 10 lbs PG/VG. UPS is the only option for shipping. Wiped out the 16% discount in a quick hurry. :) Oh well 16% is 16%. I'm waiting to hear back from Carolina Extracts to see if they'll let me pick up nic solution in person. Flavor list made out. I'll order from BCV tomorrow. The gears are turning.
I threw mine out a month ago.

    ?

Sorry, it took out my underline and color. I was saying if you order from BCV, the coupon code is firstorder for 10% off. If you have already ordered from them there is a 6% off one but I would have to look for it.

I have a concern that might not be relevant but I think this thread moves so fast, it might overwhelm many folks. I don't know if a separate post that is just for gear and sales/deals as was proposed earlier would help but it is a thought.

It’s pretty easy to glean the important stuff from this thread even though there are references to stuff I have no idea about. Keep on sharing and having fun! My take home from this thread is stock up on nicotine. I think y’all have plenty of knowledge to deal with everything else even if it means going back to flashlight mods, isn’t that how it all started? I need to find a history of vaping thread.

Or the blue foam aquarium filter material we used in place of the cartomizer/cartridge polyfill. o_O

Oh, GAWD. I almost forgot about the foam filter material. There was even a particular brand that people swore by. What a pain!! The invention of cartomizers was like landing on the moon.

Thanks! I noticed Honey dug up a coupon for Apothecary but it was the 10% one, not the 16% one.

Or just wait a couple of weeks for BullCity to email their Labor Day coupon for a higher percentage.

VU6. I think maybe ecf and elr have a code as well but they're all 6% off.

They have some good prices there. Not sure I understand what they are doing though. They have Nautilus coils at prices from $12 down to $8.60. The $12 one was their number 1 seller.

I checked out the Aegis Solo. Great price with the discount. They have a cute gif of the battery cap being screwed on and off which appears to have the threads going backwards.

hmmm ... I couldn't find Nauty coils on that site, if you're taking about epufstore.com ... if I put Nautilus in the search box it only returns a couple mods.

EDIT: my bad, you were probably talking about ejuices.com

So your telling me in 7 months there will be no juice sold?? I talked to EcigPro (Bob) who I have been getting my juice from for 6years and he said I have nothing to worry about they did everything they had to do, he's only concern were the flavored juices, not tobacco. I live in Florida, I will go crazy if they ban everything. I don't do my own juice, I have but it was disgusting I thought everything was going OK
Nope that's not exactly what I'm saying. What I'm saying is that after May 11, 2020 if a juice manufacturer hasn't filed a PMTA with the FDA for each product they sell, then those products cannot legally be sold. The FDA's own estimate for the cost of preparing an acceptable PMTA is a six-figure amount -- per product, and there's absolutely no guarantee that those PMTAs will be approved. IIRC, only two PMTAs have ever been approved, one for Swedish Match snus and the other for Altria/PMI's IQOS Heat-Not-Burn product. Both of these PMTAs cost millions to prepare. Does "Bob" have that kinda money?

Now of course there is the question of how vigorously the FDA will enforce any of this. I know of at least one shop that still makes juice in-house and the owner's attitude is: "I'll stop when guys with badges and guns put a padlock on the place, not before."

It's a little too early to go crazy. In my understanding, much is still up in the air and uncertain.
He who panics first, panics best. ;)

Juice manufacturers had to submit a costly application for manufacturing approval to the FDA. One for each flavor and each nic strength.
What do you mean "had to"? The deadline for PMTA submissions is next May. Are you thinking about registrations? Because they're not at all the same thing.

I've not heard that any manufacturers have certain approval yet.
I haven't heard of any that have submitted PMTAs yet. Since the FDA can't approve (or reject!) that which hasn't been submitted, the safest course is to wait until the last minute. If someone submits now and the FDA rejects their application, they're done; they have to pull their stuff off the market immediately, not 8+ months from now.

You can stand by and see what actually is approved and available for future use, or prepare for the worst scenario. Problem of standing by will be a rush to purchase juice and gear if these items become unavailable in the future. Vendors only carry so much gear and juice and many will be left with empty warehouses from the rush of sales.
Unfortunately, it's hard to predict how that will play out. Things could get hard to find and expensive, or they could get cheap due to going out of business sales.
