I'll stick with my Weller's.For the delicate parts I wind a length of heavy gauge SS wire around the tip and leave a quarter inch free to stick off the end of the iron. You can touch any delicate part without overheating its neighbors.
A cheap Chinese iron works fine once you do that.
One problem with this question is: What acid was the nic salt made with and how much? Straight nicotine should always be the same stuff, with salts, you generally don't really know exactly what you're getting. So what is long term storage like with salts, is it feasible?

That said, if salts were my thing (they aren't), I'd put 'em in the freezer, in glass bottles, just like regular nic.
I still plan on doing a similar Doc for the ZBModz enclosures. Last weekend I got preempted by a Honey-Do list from hell, but I havent forgotten about it.Awesome instructions Mike!!! Thank you.![]()

Nice find!Okay, it didn't take long. It was Chemnovatic:
NicSalt - Nicotine Salts | Salt based nicotine - CHEMNOVATIC

Guess I could've snipped a little further down from the ChemNovatic site. I believe there are about a half dozen other types (Juul uses Benzoate, Vuse uses Lactic, others use citric, early forms used acetic, etc.)- but these guys, who claim to be the largest mfg. in the world, offer 3.One problem with this question is: What acid was the nic salt made with and how much? I made up a table listing all my mods and tanks. Took my best guess at what I paid for them. I could get more accurate numbers by going through the old invoices but it would take the rest of the day and I can't be bothered. This should be close enough.
The total was $2100.
I'm thinking spare parts for attys might still be easy to get from Fasttech after the boom drops. They always say the items in their packages are innocent nozzles and such, and if the packages are opened by customs, odds are a bunch of o rings and screws and peculiar metal bits wouldn't raise an alarm.

Don't you ever get filter nozzles or CNC machine parts? I get lots of both.I always wondered why customs was never interested in why I would possibly get so many small packages of Bluetooth speakers over the past few years.
Does anyone calculate just what their stash cost? I have no idea where I’d draw the line between what I’m using and what I’m saving.
Mad stab guess, I’ve spent $5-6k total. Mods, atties, nic, the whole shebang. Still the savings from not smoking is around 20k. I feel like a few more RDAs and I’ll be set for life, aside from consumables. Which won’t stop me from buying things until I no longer can. But I no longer feel the urgency.
I’d be afraid to start adding it all up! I have boxes of stuff dating back to about 2010. I bought my first stash of mechs during the early dark days, have added a few more this last year. A dozen provaris maybe?? and about 65 or so regulated mods, plus a dozen pods/built in battery mods that I like for out and about knowing well they’ll bite the dust first. I don’t count those. 4 shoeboxes of rta/rdas.... just stuff lol. And enough diy stuff to keep me stocked for a long time. But, yeah, I still find shinies to buyDoes anyone calculate just what their stash cost? I have no idea where I’d draw the line between what I’m using and what I’m saving.

I know who to look up if I run out of gear.I’d be afraid to start adding it all up! I have boxes of stuff dating back to about 2010.
