@Rossum , any thoughts on premix base (6 or 12mg) staying in the freezer in its plastic jugs? I *think* they’re recycle 2s.
It's not ideal. How long do you plan to keep it like that? My sense: Months, OK. But for years, I'd put it in glass.

I have a confession to make . I have been a lazy, lazy gal. In my freezer digging, I discovered I have 4 litres of 100mg still in the plastic bottles they came in, in their nifty plastic bags. So instead of shinies next Friday, I will be ordering a big, ol pile of glass bottles and another airtight bin to put them in. <sigh>. I thought it was only two. Ugh.

Are you talking about base you bought like that and plan to store for a while?

I make 6mg base. I keep it in the 250ml dark brown plastic bottles I used to receive WL nic in. I do 4 at a time. I used to keep it out on a shelf but it takes 4 or 5 months to get through a batch, so now I keep one bottle out and the rest in the freezer. If I was planning to keep base for longer than that I would put it in glass bottles. But the plastic bottles are short and wide compared with 250ml glass so they fit better in the freezer.

I always thought they would ignore the regs. But I guess vaping is a tiny slice of their total business, and in the middle of a trade war they won't be eager to attract attention.

I posted a couple days ago, on another thread, that was about Alibaba not selling vape stuff to the US any more. According to an article I'd read 4 days or so ago...Alibaba and 3 other Chinese companies aren't going to be allowed to sell any products to the US for several reasons. The main reason as far as Alibaba goes...was because of their human rights violations, concerning their employees. So, their announcement after that, of their supposed decision to stop selling vape products to the US "because of the vaping related lung issues"... seems to be very misleading and calculated, IMO.

Ugh IDK now does this mean one last big FT order of bits and tanks,, or not? I can't decide. Everything I s so complicated. My eyes are better but I have a cold. The husband gave his "Ted talk" (that is actually his name, so it's fair) and then said I was "Combative."

Thank goodness for Theraflu. I do assume some day in the distant future I will feel better. Heh. It's just … adjusting to my new town.

I was afraid you were going to say that . I only have about 4 years worth of premade base. I really bought it for the big kid, but he got all adulty and finally listened and bought a chest freezer and a bunch of nic. I just make him “one shots”. I guess I was hoping because it’s so low in nic it might hold for a few years in the jugs sealed in the original plastic bags. Adding 1L bottles to next weeks order. Thank you for the advice. At this juncture, we can’t afford to just toss something in the future

@kross8, @NolaMel, @Bronze, @fiddleshe, and everyone else, including those who sent me a PM . . .

I really can't tell "YOU" how much I appreciate, each an every one of your suggestions, ideas and offers of assistance . . . It only goes to prove no matter what your social status, political views, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, age, gender and values . . . There are more people out there who will still come together for the good of the cause and prove they care for others . . .

Put a false bottom in it like I have in my freezer.

I already have too many "False Bottoms" - I'm an "OLD MAN" - if Ya' know what I mean . . .

Seriously if you have a medical reason for ice your doctor can write a letter for a freezer and theres not jack they can do.
*edit* I know this cause I live in gubment housing

You're absolutely correct, well now that there is a new owner/property management company who runs this apartment complex I probably could . . . But, I've gone down that route before - some I won an others were not approved (with both management companies). . . I even have had "My" doctor write a few letter alreay, including the NEED for a larger apartment (claustrophobic - true  -approved by prior management), assigned parking space (which was denied by the previous management - long story :censored: but finally honor by present management), OTC medications at the end of the year too for re-certification (varied results) . . . SO - I am sure my doctor would have no problem writing another letter for me too . . . However, given what I've already done to improve the apartment (with/without prior approval for most things) , given the new Owners particularities in improving & maintaining the building/property . . . Like removing BDrm AC units, closing up wall and then installing an exhaust fan in the wall from one room to the other to drag cool air into the BDrm (failed), removing access to opening up 1/2 the windows in apartments when installing Huge Sldiing Hurricane windows, "House Rules" that demand all windows and doors stay closed (whether or not AC is on), Ban any and all decorations in the windows (even during hoildays), removing all screens doors (even if you purchased them before they took over), Cutting down most trees and removing bushes, and besides banning burning of any candles, incense and/or any open flames . . . Last but not least, is the Ban on Smoking any Tobacco/Medicinal Marijuana/etc. and of course the use of E-Cigarettes & "Vaping" (which I ignored) . . . I don't think I'll ask my Doctor to write a letter for this one . . . Hey, I will eventually work something out - I usually do one way or the other ( Just know there was a time once that I was actually working with Tenants Rights & Organizing, especially HUD Tenants) . . . If Ya' know what I mean . . .

Just Sayin' . . . ;)

I don't know, may be I was more miserable and grouchy, although I think it's possibly my natural state so there is that! hahaha..

When I first stopped using nicotine, I vaped more but only for a short time, then I slowly stopped vaping.. almost literally, although a puff or two every now and then was still nice..

But in cutting down on nicotine, I think the potential is there to vape more at first, but then even out again once the body settles itself..
I agree completely with that. I started out at 12 and I'm now at 3 without any discernible side effects other than initially when I stepped down I do vape more but it evens out after a week or less. I think that I am addicted more to the action of vaping then I am the nicotine and I came to that conclusion when I realized I was vaping a zero nicotine e-juice for two days without realizing it. It couldn't quite figure out why I was feeling a little bit edgy and had a bit of a headache going on but other than that I was relatively okay. Not so okay that I kept on with it but okay enough that I didn't kill anyone LOL
