OK, I'll grant you I don't have a tremor.

I have decanted gallons of straight VG into 1 liter bottles. That is indeed something of a PITA, especially the first liter or two while the gallon jug is heavy. The last it it always takes some time. I prop the jug upside-down and give gravity an hour or so to do its work.

Have you considered getting the husband to help? There are probably certain "favors" you could offer him in return.

How do you clean your new bottles out before decanting?
For the past 6 years I have just given them a rinse and shake with plain tap water and then let them drain and dry on the top rack of the dishwasher.
I’m second guessing myself wondering now if I should have rinsed them using something else. Distilled water? Vodka? PGA?

That's all I've ever done so I hope your first guess was right.

Me too. I rinse them out with hot tap water and let them dry.

I use vinegar or vodka then a good rinse and let dry. It doesn't take much vinegar or vodka to rinse them first. I use filtered water for final rinse.

That's exactly what I said to myself when 50 bottles arrived a couple days ago. A quick rinse is all I've ever done with new bottles.

Okay - Don't have Husband - nor Wife (Thankfully, for many different reasons ) . . . However, given "My" apprehensions of decanting some of the NIC I have . . . I did have an ECF Friend who visited and assisted "Me" decant 2L of PG & 2L VG NIC 100mg . . . that I also wanted mixed 50/50 in separate bottles for long term storage . . . Well - Long story short - After looking at all the bottles when it was done, I noticed the bottles had different amounts of NIC liquid in each . . . Some had a little less and others were filled all the way up to the top (not the neck of the bottle as suggested) . . . As a result, the next day I decided to empty all the bottles into a gallon container to refill the bottles over. . . I started filling them using a 4 cup Pyrex Glass measuring cup with the new funnels I got and not only was it difficult to do - it took much longer then I wanted . . . That was until I started using just the 4 cup Pyrex Glass measuring cup to fill each bottle over a tub (just in case there was any overflow or accident) . . . The point is, IMHO & experience - If Ya' are stuck decanting Nic into Bottles and your dexterity/eye sight is not that great - I found that it much easier to just use a measuring cup then with a funnel . . . NOT Only - Can Ya' measureout what Ya' NEED - Ya can see what you are doing much better and hopefully not over filling the bottles . . . Just Sayin' . . .

I received some new tank glass this week from fast tech and I washed it as always with diluted vinegar.
I got into the habit of doing this years ago with anything that comes in contact with the juice. There was a batch of RBA’s that myself and others received that Had traces of machine oil so I have cleaned everything well ever since then.
Everything except the new empty bottles that is.

The point is, IMHO & experience - If Ya' are stuck decanting Nic into Bottles and your dexterity is not great - it much easier to use a measuring cup then a funnel

Interesting approach.

I use a measuring cup to add distilled water to my big UPS batteries up in PA. But the only way you can see the water level in them is to look down through the hole you're adding water to. I have no real problem seeing the level of liquid in amber or cobalt blue bottles from the outside.

Yea - It just worked better for "Me" - YMMV for others . . . I was having a little bit of a problem seeing the level of Liquid in the amber bottles, I guess that's why "My" friend also had problems (filled while sitting on table) . . . Anyway, I could hold the bottle up-right seeing the "Sunlight" trough the bottle - so I could see when the liquid reached the neck of the bottle . . . The other benefit, I noticed that 4 Litter /1 gallon of NIC Liquid does not necessarily equal 16 - 8oz bottles (even given the very slight amount of "spillage") . . . Final result was, I now have 15 Amber 8oz Bottle filled to the neck with 50/50 100mg NIC Liquid sealed with self-fusing tape & labeled in a freezer for long term storage . . . Just Sayin' . . .

I noticed that 4 Litter /1 gallon of NIC Liquid does not necessarily equal 16 - 8oz bottles (even given the very slight amount of "spillage") . . .

1 gallon is only 3.78 liters.

And most glass bottles, when filled to the base of their neck, do hold a bit more than their nominal capacity. I've noticed that when making my vaping-strength base and decanting it back into 120ml / 4oz bottles.

I can't account for people's maladies that prevent them from decanting into glass. That's beyond my pay grade.

Was only leaving a general post in response to "Anna's post":

"The thought of like putting my PG and VG (2.5 GALLONS IN ONE JUG I could barely LIFT it at first.) Plus I HAVE to have my nic in ALL VG because I like have a PG sensitivity. So the nic is gloopy it's annoying and I make a mess.

I would have gotten the wide mouth jugs but I did not and it's actually easier (now) for me to like NOT use a funnel, that takes FOREVER.

But yes, it gets.... I get tired. I need to order some more bottles and I may look at wide mouth.

But it is a total PITA (for me.)​

Especially - Since "We" both have similar issues and to offer a possible solution/s - and for any others who might have the same issues . . . . Gees - Didn't mean to interrupt "Your" day trying to assist some others . . . Actually, thought "We" try to help each other around here . . .

Sounds like a job for a large (1 or 2 liter) graduated dispensing burette and stand. New they are expensive but with patience glass labware can be found at very reduced prices used or surplus. I got my automatic burette I use for high strength nic decanting surplus for pennies on the dollar. For mixing I use a variety of graduated pyrex cylinders from 1 liter down to 5ml and a variety of pyrex funnels.
