Ok, for all those in fear of where to start, I've already made several Danish recipes, and I refer you to this thread:

My Peach Danish is as follows:
Peach Danish
Peach - 8%
Vanilla Custard - 4%
Brown Sugar - 2%
Butter - 2%
Sweetener - 2%
Waffle - 1%
Sweet Cream - 1-2%
Add almost any fruit to this one for a great Danish. I like it with Peach, but works with apple, lemon, cherry, etc.
Lest you think we've already "nailed" this one, let me tell you when and how this came to be. 18 months ago, when I was just starting to figure out how to make good juice, I stumbled across this mix, as I was trying to make a Peach Cobbler. As you know, I rarely use a 20% flavoring, and when I do, it's either because the recipe was an early one for me, or because it only has about 3 ingredients in it. This Peach Danish is good, but it's only 20% mix, and probably should be a 30% mix. But, IT IS A START....PERHAPS, A GOOD START for all of us, and certainly where I will be starting.
As I tear this recipe down in my mind today, I certainly think the creams and sweeteners are too low, and so is the breading material here as 1% waffle. Really, everything looks thin to me now, but this was a real breakthrough for me at the time. No doubt this can be better, and by putting our collective heads together, it will improve and be better. Also, it doesn't have to be peach, it could be anything, including cream cheese Danish. The fun of this project is in the making, the journey, and not the destination, the goal if you will, that keeps us all focused. THIS WILL BE BETTER, and certainly my feelings won't be hurt at all. I've known for some time that my first recipes needed work, I just haven't gotten around to them again....yet. But here we are now. We may even have to look outside TFA for some of the flavorings (like cream cheese icing, or the doughy breading that is a big part of the Danish flavoring). And so, to me, this will be a great place to start, a whole lotta fun, something we will all learn about, and while it will certainly include many of these ingredients it may not include all of them, a few new ones likely, and certainly at higher percentages. I cannot imagine a Danish today without vanilla swirl, for example, or using peach, when I love lemon Danish, or raspberry or even blueberry. We can all have fun breaking down the components and going back and forth on how to do the pieces, supported by our efforts in the vape lab. I can't wait.
I know I'm rambling now, but there is a lot to look forward to, and I know that we will end up with several alternatives, all better than this example. Again, I can't wait. So, please everyone, jump in, no matter what your level of time, commitment, expertise, knowledge, or comfort. We can all learn together, and, if you are new, this is a golden opportunity to learn from the bottom up, and really quickly. What a marvelous example of an opportunity for new DIY'ers to ask questions about this common goal! Why are you trying Acetyl Pyrazine, for example? Why 12% apple? Why two different creams? These are great questions, and probably not unlike what will actually be asked along the way. I think this will increase readership, participation, skills, etc. Sound like a plan, Stan? Come on now, everyone get in on this one!
