If I have the energy, I'm going to start with the Danish Dough today. I'm thinking butter, donuts, cinnamon sugar cookie as a starting point with enhancements (vanilla (swirl) and creams (Bavarian and/or French vanilla) + Sweet). I know there's a Danish dough recipe here somewhere. I've always focused on toppings in the past, because those are the primaries with a Danish vape. Mom made some excellent suggestions, though, so I thought I'd start my Danish adventure there. We really do have a lot to play with, and while most of them are unlikely to work, I just suspect there's magic around here. Also, given two weeks to work on a flavor allows a great deal of exploration, and I'm looking forward to that, something I really never do any more (take two weeks to work on a flavor, that is). Yes, you may suggest such things! Since I got the hubby to fork out for the Vape (tackle) Box today, I'm wondering when I'm going to get vape cut off LOL Maybe it's time to order the wee sizes....

A lot of information over those last 15 pages or so....maybe a quick scan to catch up. Essentially, almost everyone has agreed to participate in a community effort to develop a TFA Danish recipe. Hopefully, we can all enjoy the communication, the learning and sharing, the community, etc. using the common goal of making the best Danish we can (there are no winners...well, perhaps we all win). So, today is the start of that effort, which then ends on Sunday, October 19, 2014. All about the journey......and, maybe, we end up with some interesting destinations. We would love to have you participate.
THERE IS NO LIST! Useful initially to show support, but not something that can reliably be updated every time a new poster wants to participate. Participation IS the goal. So, are you interested?
Just in case anyone is in need of glass droppers quickly...
I hit up Walmart and Kroger this week for glass droppers. I bought 11 packs, for a total of 22 droppers. They are Flents brand, 4 inch droppers and come 2 to a pack. One is curved and one straight. I tested them and they seem to drop the same. Walmart sells them for $1.47 and Kroger for .99. Averaged price with tax is .64 per dropper. The 12 pack on Amazon averages .73 each, with shipping.

I did the SAME thing today. The ones that Bill had posted a link for on Amazon are now out of stock. Called the vendor and they don't know when they'll be back in. That cracks me up! (just got back from 5 hours of grocery/Michaels (looking for the darn Cream Cheese Icing LorAnn)/Hobby Lobby blah blah blah... All over from one end of this city to the other for various things. Found those when getting hubby contact stuff... I was like DING DING DING! WINNER!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A hardy welcome to the Meet! I am no longer updating "The List." It was a tool just to show initial support, and pretty much everyone is participating, as near as I can tell, and we are happy to have you in this effort!
The main thing, I think, is just to communicate, to ask questions, posit suggestions and solutions, and most importantly, to HAVE FUN!

Personally, I am EXTREMELY excited to see how quickly we had some folks we hadn't met before, come out of the woodwork and those we have met before, come right on board. Bill was originally right, I had an idea about something like this-just couldn't put it in the proper wording. I think that we can truly come together as a community and share some TERRIFIC ideas.
Like Bill has said-participation IS the goal. If you don't have, or can't get certain flavors or are busy or what have you-no worries You could be sitting on something that none have thought of before, or maybe something one or more of us want to try! So, please, take a minute and share away!

Y yes can't wait to get caught up. I only have 102 pages in this thread, have my settings set to 40 post per page, so can someone tell me what post # so I can go back I read up, is there a place and time for these meeting, I'll try to go back and find it

I wanted to play with this recipe but you never did say.. is this TFA Vanilla Cupcake or? I went over 10 pages past and when you started posting again didn't see a reply. I know there was someone asking about the final concoction so they could add it to their recipe collection. Well, this was last known version.
