You can vape immediately, and should try it. It'll flavor bond in a couple of hours, and fully steep in 24-48 hours. High flavor mixes do not require long steep times.

Kayfun is the most popular RTA on the market. Only thing I used for about 6 months. They are very good. You'll be making your own coils and wicks, but it's more a mental block, NOT a difficult operation by any means. I'm sure you'll find all the help you need right here, just let us know.
P.S. I all I use these days are my Taifun GT's. Better and easier to work with than the kayfun, imho. I have ten of them!![]()

I am HOPING that tomorrow no one will bother me all day and I can DIY and finish making pretty mod! I SOOOOOOOOOOOOO want to build that fogger tonight, but I'm shaking WAYYY too much to deal with something that small lol I was looking for that Taifun name in your posts from a while back Bill-but blast it! I couldn't find it before I ordered the other. Are they pricey? The fogger thread, oh definitely read there for tips/tricks, some of the people there are super helpful. I prefer my ephro kfl+ clones, haven't tried a taifun yet, but do want to get one someday, but the fogger should give you a good experience. Your kf will probably be super easy after building the fogger, if you can build protank coils, you'll be fine honestly. The fogger for some is tricky with the duals, and there used to be some quirks depending on which deck you had that are easily resolved(fogger thread) I honestly prefer the tighter draw on kf' s but that's just me, so I do have a fogger, I just don't use much, but many love them.
And I will post Danish/donut tomorrow, left notes downstairs, should probably post my snake oil/venom recipes for Monica too
Foggers are great, but like mentioned they are a bit tricky to get set up right at first. The best way i have found to keep them from leaking is to leave a thin tail on the ends of the wicks and put those thin tails about half way down the length of the channels.Honestly though, these are better suited for juices that you already know are good, rather than testing, since they are more difficult to change wicks and coils in.Kayfun's are nice too, they are easier to coil, since they are single coil, but the fogger is far better. Now,if you really want a tank that will give you all the flavor you could ever want, then next time you get the itch to buy a new tank, get yourself an orchid. They are right there with the flavor of an rda,but hold more juice, best part is they are $20 or less.I've been back to using the fogger since i got hooked on the fire & ice,but once i get over this thrill,i'll be running back to my orchid haha.
ThanksI wait for your posts with bells on! LOL And ty for the other advice. This is the first "advanced" tank mechanism that I've picked up-so I want to do it RIGHT. I'd rather sit on it for a week and learn to operate it correctly than half-educated tries. Not my style. I bought these for flavor-it's important to me after getting into the DIY. I REALLY want to taste what I am making. It kind of is odd to me what *I* feel like I am tasting compared to others on my recipe(s). So I figured I needed to drop a few $$ and stop buying cheap tanks (which honestly, I love for portability) I live in my SUV sometimes-so having something that won't leak and I can just toss in my purse is pretty important to me......

I agree with Tim. A drop or two of M type will take you back toward tobacco and away from sweetness. M is strong, and not that great a flavor on it's own, but very useful in tobacco mixes. I use it myself in Brandon's Choice.![]()

Cheap tanks? All about the coil and wick, imho. Rebuilding a protank can provide an outstanding vape, rivaling more expensive and difficult gear. I hear you about wanting gear to match your juice. We all need to do that. There are so many devices out there now, it is possible to find any configuration to meet your needs, and by rebuilding coils and wicks yourself, you can easily get the vape you are after. For me, I need a big tank, prefer single coils, focus on flavor, less on vapor, and need to easily build coils and wicks....quickly. So, that guided my selection of the taifun Gt, and I haven't looked back. I have 15 drippers that I don't use. I have duals, quads, carto tanks and clearos of every imaginable configuration. When you find what works for you, everything changes, and gets easier. There is a best vape for each of us, and that vape is likely to be different for everyone. There is no best or right way, just a VapeQuest to find the best gear for your needs. That being said, it does help to rebuild, as you can't get to the better vapes without it, imho, though some AFC clearos are approaching a pretty good vape. I did find carto tanks, though, better than clearos, even when I rebuilt them, though that was a while ago, and there are better clearos out there now, some of which I have not tried. All I can say is that you'll know it when you see it....that perfect setup for you. Can be a long journey, though. I've been through at least 150 different toppers to find mine. To each their own.... Good luck!!!![]()
Where can I find this recipe?
I looked in your blogs, searched this forum, google ?? TA
Glad you like the CD Tim. It's my Go to ADV!
Regarding the tobacco, I've had good feedback on this one which I call Brandon's Choice:
RY4 - 2%
M Type - 2%
Turkish - 2%
Black Honey - 2%
Caramel - 3%
Sweetener - 3%
Vanilla Bourbon - 3%
Hazelnut - 3%
Bavarian Cream - 2%
Sweet Cream - 2%
I made a lot of variations of this one, and everyone kept coming back to this one, including a few people who don't vape tobacco. This is a wonderful smoke/dirty ashtray flavoring like you find in the best tobacco eJuices. Wonderful!

Sounds like the plastic is breaking down. I suggest retiring them.Well, cheap as in-inexpensive....Which is not always bad, I realize. *I* like my Kanger T3S's, however as you know, they aren't great for all juices. I've already fogged one tank up-almost to the point you can't see through it and another is on it's way in that direction! But like I said-this is more of a taste journey now, where (as I didn't say) getting the tanks was more trying to find the right amount of vapor and price. I also have those lil Aspire BVC's, I REALLY like the lil one-I can't imagine if the bigger ones would be better or not though, so I haven't bought em. I have a couple mini protanks... they aren't bad, but I can't seem to find a proper tip to fit in the blasted things, so they draw too much air. I don't use them much because of that.
If you don't like the airy draw then you probably wouldn't like the orchids, they suck in a ton of air,but produce amazing flavor because of all that air.The kayfun has a fairly tight draw which i used to really like,it was about the same amount of air as my protanks.Good thing on that fogger is the airflow is adjustable, that makes it very nice to get it right where you like it.
As for getting over the big red taste, yeah your probably right, this one will definitely take a while haha,i just wish i could use it in my orchid, but that much cinnamon would probably melt the plastic tank, and i really don't want to vape plastic vapors haha. Although,I have been using my kayfun again for the last few days after not using it for over 3 months.I found that the orchid was to airy for me with tobacco, but the kayfun with the tighter draw gives that same feeling as taking a draw from a cigarette,so that goes along with the taste, definitely goes to show how different tanks work to bring out different experiences with different juices.
Yeah,i seen someone mention that a while back.I have a quartz nano kit,but not the regular one.I do have 1 of my orchids set up with glass, but it's such a pain to fill that i dont bother with it,it looks cool though with the glass kit and finned top cap haha.I had a full size kayfun quartz kit cut a bit shorter to fit on the orchid, and it fits great, but the metal rings used for those kits have an inset that is very close to the chimney,so close that you cant even squeeze an 18g needle between them,so you have to squirt a bit of juice in,and wait for it to run down in on it's own, then squirt, and wait haha,it took almost 10 minutes to get it full,so for tank crackers i have went back to my foggers.Speaking of orchids though, they just released a v4 with an extended chimney, and full size kayfun tank.I will be getting it here in a few days. They claim this one will hold 7-8ml,if i can get 5ml in it i'll be happy. The Orchid chimney is actually longer than what is needed in it's stock PMMA tank setup. If you have a Kayfun and a nano kit you can use a nano ring, the metal tank section, and the regular size ring for a tank cracker juice setup with extra juice capacity. The Orchid base is compatible with kayfun parts.
I have.I tried it fresh right after mixing, and it was very good.I could taste several fruits as well as some creaminess. After that,i let it sit for a week because i forgot about it,so i went back to it yesterday and got a pretty funky off taste from it,although i can't say 100% the off taste was from it,i believe it was,but it was a coil i have been using for a while,so this weekend i will give it a try with a new coil to see if it is any differentHas anyone tried the rainbow sherbert yet?
