I got some new tfa flavors today and want to make some small samples to get a taste for each flavor. Ive looked on the percentages lists and cant find four of them. Can anyone give me a good starting point for these flavors using them as primary flavors:
Dr Pop
Rainbow sherbert
Berry Crunch
Guava

Thanks in advance

I love lemon cake, myself. I found this recipe to be quite nice:

Lemon Cake

Lemon - 10%
FW Yellow Cake - 7%
Cotton Candy - 5%
Bavarian Cream - 4%
Sweet Cream - 4%

You can increase the Lemon, as it is a nuanced flavoring, kinda light, and be increased with 1) time, 2) citric acid, and 3) lime flavoring. Lemon can also fade with time, but not always. Depends on the mix. This recipe is at 30%. If I were to increase the Lemon to say 15%, I would reduce cotton candy to 4%, Bavarian to 2 - 3% and Sweet cream to 2 - 3%. Good luck! :toast: :D

Guava 7%

Also, you have to add creams, vanillas and sweeteners to these flavorings. Same ole', same ole'! :toast: :D

It really does make a HUGE difference, between a juice that's "eh" and "yum!!!" :thumb:

I'm going to be mixing tomorrow, since Friday is payday so I'll be busy, and the end of the month is upon us; time to mix up March's 7% WTA. I'm definitely going to simply replace the Sweet Cream in my Smoky Cappucino, with the Malted Milk I just got, but I'm thinking I'll do a 10ml and try it out before I go hog wild. I *think* it will be very good, perhaps that much closer to being a high-PG replica of Long Bottom Leaf, but it doesn't hurt to be cautious.

Didn't I read in here recently, someone mentioned an actual store where you can find pure citric acid? Maybe Hobby Lobby? I dunno, can't recall what store was named. If I'm going to mix up enough of the Strawberries and Cream for March, that would be at least 60ml, so some citric acid might be a good idea to make sure it stays tasty for the whole month.

And I may also mix up some testers with some of the other new flavors I just got; since now I have TFA's Apple Pie, I'm going to try out Bill's Dutch Apple Pie recipe; I've been thinking about it for awhile, and now that I have TFA Apple Pie, I think I can swing it. But I need to leave out the "butter" flavor; I have the Capella, and recently discovered that it does contain diketones. :( Maybe I could substitute some Sweet Cream for that.

My Dutch Apple Pie does NOT have apple pie in the recipe, and I strongly recommend against using it. The regular apple, combined with the straight pie crust AND graham cracker is MUCH BETTER, than the apple pie flavoring (NIGHT AND DAY)! I love my butter, and it makes a difference in many recipes, just as it does in real cooking. I understand your preference to avoid certain ingredients. I use them all, and without reservation, but I do understand. Can't think of a suitable substitute off the top of my head. My Dutch apple pie is my signature juice, by far my most requested flavoring. Quite addicting, I'm told. Good luck!

Bill's Signature Dutch Apple Pie

Apple - 12%
French Vanilla - 4%
Sweetener - 4%
Pie Crust - 4%
Graham Cracker - 3%
Brown Sugar - 2%
Butter - 1%
Cinnamon - .5%

Bill's Dutch Apple Pie is the best juice I have ever vaped. I have gone through two 60ml bottles in the last week and will have to mix more tomorrow. I carried it to the local vape shop I hang out at and everyone loved it.
Of course I gave Bill the credit for coming up with the recipe.

Thank you Porter. I'm so glad you like it. Yes, this one juice launched a line of juices. Though not my favorite, it is the favorite of many. :toast: :D

I actually have a couple hours set aside today to do some mixing. I'm going to make Bill's Apple Pie recipe for sure.

I also want to work on making a Strawberry Cheesecake recipe. I've found a few in the forums. I have been vaping "Straweberry Cheesecake Shake" that was on sale at quitthatgrit.com 3 weeks ago. I am hooked on that juice. I want to see if I can make something close. It is so creamy and nice. I'll report back if I have any success.

I now have a Magma dripper for taste testing my 100 drop test samples. Should be a fun day to stay in and tinker.

If you get a strawberry cheese cake please share I've found that TFA strawberry is difficult

I have the ripe strawberry and cheesecake both from TFA.

However, I have also ordered some CAP flavors (I know this isn't a Cap thread). But I hear the Cap strawberry is very good.

I'll start by working with the TFA flavors I have on hand first. If I can't get it right with the TFA, then I'll try some of the Cap flavors when they arrive.

This is one I found (not mine) that may help.

Strawberry Cheese Cake
Marshmallow (TFA), 7.00%,
Strawberry (TFA), 7.00%,
Cheesecake (TFA), 4%
Graham Cracker (TFA), 2%
