Yes, I do get tired of explaining things over and over, and wrote blogs to take care of many of those chores. However, I am deeply involved in a work project that has a rather critical and difficult time pressure, and, am missing for work related issues mainly.

As you know, I am all about helping the new Mixer in DIY. As such, I prefer to keep things simple. While weighing our flavorings and what have you has some merit, I have never found it necessary to be that accurate in order to get great results, and, so, I don't advocate for weight measurement, and I doubt many could tell the difference between a volume mix versus a mass mix anyway. I know I can't, and I have a pretty good sense of these things. So, do what makes you happy, but just be aware that making something more accurate will not necessarily make it better, and there are many ways to mix our juices, with outstanding results.

On a project basis, I'm working on my first cask, and will advise how that turns out for me at the proper time.

Like our friend Channelvaps, and others have said, the most important part of this thread is to help others, encourage the new members, and learn from one another. Sounds like a worthy goal. I like this thread the best, when I am able to read about new recipes that members post. Either they provide new ideas, or expand on our craft in a positive ways. So, please share your creations and let others decide if they look like something they might like or not.

The last place I want to come is to a chat room, or forum where people are not being respectful, where ideas are not shared and tolerated, and where there is not an open dialogue with a spirit of cooperation and helpfulness. For the most part, this thread fills that bill just fine. I hope to return to daily activity on this thread, but that will more than likely be next year, given my workload.

I wish all well, happy mixing and vaping, and Good Luck! :thumb: :toast: :vapor: :2cool:
Great to see you stop in Maestro! You are sorely missed.
I saw your previous posting that you would be busy for awhile.
Hope all is well for you and yours.

I did try it right away and the berries overwhelmed it entirely. Right away and 2-3 days later. I then let it sit for a week

I'm trying this right now as written in the recipe except the yoghurt is more like 10%. I'm using a freshly wicked Dark Horse @ 0.8 ohm on an unregulated mod., I'm getting a lot of the yoghurt taste - i.e. I am tasting the sourness but there isn't a lot of depth to it. I can't say that the berries are overwhelming.
------
I have added 3% Bavarian cream. There's a little more body now.
------
Trying it in a freshly wicked Lemo 2 - 1.6ohms at 10 watts. The sourness of the yoghurt is still there I'm still not quite happy with the depth of the juice but it's not bad. I think I like it better in the RDA though and there seems to be a little bit of a metallic taste about it. Sorry - I'm just thinking aloud here. I'll keep trying.

ETA: For me, the metallic taste might be coming from the blueberry. I love fresh blueberries but I'm not quite fond of blueberry flavours in ejuice.

@DingerCPA ~hugs~

 Funny you say that... we've gotten a lot more rain this season that normal as well. I think it rained for 2 weeks straight not long ago! We've finally caught a break and have had some nice sunny days for the past week...

Hmmm... I still need to pick up a squonker. ..

Im enjoying mine , couple more on order.
Using a reo atm with 6ml tank and have a couple other mods with 10ml tanks on order.
So the tank is there - easy filling , rda on top get those modified or buy them modified from some stores. , easier to wick than most tanks and easy to test flavours on.

As for the thread well currently vaping some chocolate and pecan donut and some apricot and fig cake.

I made this recipe and steeped it for over 10 days. it does not have the 'bite' or 'tang' I longed for. Could I get some advice from some pros about what I might do at this point? I used 9% G. Yogurt. I thought maybe Lemon? More Yogurt? More of all?
Suggestions welcome

Not sure what might give you the 'bite' that you're looking for, but I would try adding Vanillin or maybe a little Vanilla Swirl to get some more depth and body in the flavor profile. Not enough to make it a high note, but just enough to notice a difference. Maybe drop the Strawberry to 4.5% and add 1.5% Vanillin? I don't have any of the flavors you are using, so I can't test it myself... but a 100DT just might do the trick to work through it without too much waste. Between you and Papillon, I'm sure y'all will work something out. :)

    Somewhere between here and there
I think someone was talking before about using vanillin instead of cotton candy(EM) for a sweetener. I got a bottle with my last order but haven't tried it with anything yet. I have been trying to think of something to make with the peanut butter I have yet to try. Unfortunately I don't have any chocolate flavors yet.

MMMmmmm... peanut butter and honey... or better yet, peanut butter and marshmallow (add some kind of bread flavor and you should get a fluffer-nutter sandwich!)

Peanut butter is the best flavor i have used.Between it and ry4 double, one or both of these are in almost every juice that i use as my adv. There is a very good one posted in this thread by dwcraig1, if you have ry4 double,it's called peanut brittle,it's 6% peanut butter,6% ry4 double, and 1% sweetener.I have vaped more of that juice than any other that i have tried in over a year of vaping,it's that good.Another good one with peanut butter is posted somewhere here on the forum, but i can't remember who it was posted by,but this is another very good one.

    Peanut Butter Dream

    Peanut Butter 10 %
    Graham Cracker 3%
    Caramel 2%
    Sweet Cream 2%
    Vanilla Custard 3%
I vape alot of this one too,it is good right after mixing, but after a few days,it really gets good.

You are showing your age Kaezziel! I even remember the song they played over and over again back in I think the mid 60's.

LOL! I don't go that far back, Jim! I wasn't born until '76, but Fluffernutter sammiches were my favorite as a kid, and I still make them occasionally as a treat... when ya get a craving, nothin' else comes close!

Never saw Fluff. Must not have been available in the hills of Eastern KY?
Maybe I was just culturally depraved?

Marshmallow Fluff... check the baking section at the grocery store. If we had it in south Mississippi, I'm sure you could find it in KY! We pretty much lived 20yrs behind the curve...

We had marshmallow creme but I don't recall any Fluff brand. And am sure if we did my mother never bought us any. I would remember that.
It's all the same... any marshmallow creme will get the job done! (I don't remember what brand we bought either...)

Yah, figured it was all the same but that is the first time I had seen that commercial.
I liked Mallow Cups, but do not see them around any more....
