New flavors from tfa noticed at bull city vapor....meringue, pear candy, sweet tea...in case anyone is interested....
Yeah,i noticed those thursday when i put my order in.I had not ordered any flavors since February,so i didn't know how long those had been out though haha.Because of those new ones,i'm putting in another flavor order next thursday, meringue is at the top of that list, along with the sweet tea,and a few others that i have just never bothered to get before. The sweet tea will hopefully give me good results.I have a peach sweet tea juice that i won in a contest a while back, and the st flavor in it is very good, but i'm not crazy about the peach,so i want to make a sweet tea with lemon and see how that goes.

Let us know how the Sweet Tea turns out. I'm hesitant, because I'm kind of a "tea snob" -- unless it's fresh brewed, it just tastes stale to me, like instant tea. Ick.

@MsLoud - I "borrowed" your BlueberRY4 recipe from either this thread or another one (hell, I can't remember any more)

I must say, that's DELIGHTFUL! I'm not normally a tobacco-flavored gal, but with all the other goodies in there, that's an extremely pleasant vape :)

THANK YOU!

I am wondering why I have not been hang'n in here as this looks to be something that I should be subscribing to, so I will.
Done. TPA is the brand I use. I need to make a bottle of what I call "Peanut Brittle"
6% TPA Peanut Butter
6% TPA RY4 Double
1% TPA Sweetener
Some time I leave out the sweetener as the RY4 dbl is a bit sweet.
It took me a week to start DIY'n after starting to vape, 3 year ago.

dwcraig's peanut brittle recipe is excellent. As others have mentioned, the dy4 is sweet. As a matter of fact, the "4" designation pertains to the sweetness factor, as there are other dy#'s available. I've always liked the dy4, and while it is often packaged and included in tobacco recipes, it has excellent potential as a complimentary flavoring in all manner of mixes. I last shared some peanut butter recipes about six months ago. Found them and am reposting for anyone interested, and as a tribute to dwcraig's excellent mix:

What kind of peanut butter mix are you looking for? Peanut butter and what?

I love peanut butter and use it all the time in several choco mixes, such as Peanut Butter Cup, Butterfinger, and Creamy Peanut Butter. What did you have in mind? I'm sure we can whip something up for you. Since peanut butter goes so well with chocolate, that's what I primarily use it for, but its a great flavor and relatively easy to work with. Here's a couple of finished recipes for you to review:

Butterfinger

Caramel - 8%
Peanut Butter - 6%
Cotton Candy - 2%
Double Chocolate - 1.5%
Milk Chocolate - 1.5%
Vanilla Swirl - 1%
Sweetener - 1%

Peanut Butter Cup

Dark double Chocolate - 2%
Milk Chocolate - 4%
Peanut Butter - 4%
Caramel - 4%
Sweet Cream - 2%
Vanilla Swirl - 2%
Sweetener - 2%

Peanut Butter Cookie

FA Cookie - 10%
Peanut Butter - 5%
Cotton Candy - 4%
Vanilla Swirl - 3%
Bavarian Cream - 2%

Peanut Butter Surprise

Peanut Butter - 8%
Caramel - 5%
Double Chocolate - 3%
Milk Chocolate - 3%
Marshmallow - 3%
Sweetener - 2%

Creamy Peanut Butter Crunch

Peanut Butter - 8%
Hazelnut Praline/Pecan - 4%
Cotton Candy - 4%
Bavarian Cream - 4%
Vanilla Custard - 4%
Graham Cracker - 3%
Sweetener - 2%

Hopefully, this will get you started. Best of luck in your DIY adventure! :toast: :D :rickroll:

If anyone has some other peanut butter recipes, I, for one, would love to see them! Good luck! :thumb: :D

Thought I would share an Apple Pie and some Raspberry concoctions with VapeLand.

Apple Pie

Apple 12%
French Vanilla 4%
Sweetener 4%
Pie Crust 4%
Graham Cracker 3%
Brown Sugar 2%
Butter-1%
Cinammon-0.5% - 1.5%

One must be careful while mixing pie crust with waffle/Belgian Waffle and Graham Cracker. Get them out of proportion and they are awful. But, in the right mix and proportion, they work very well together. Hard to say what any "rules of thumb" are in mixing, but I've generally tried to keep the pie crust at higher percentages than the Belgian Waffle. Reverse them and they taste like Play Dough to me!

I also don't generally like raspberry flavoring. It's just ok. However, in VapeLand, raspberry is terrifice. Thought I'd share a couple of recipes:

Fruit Loops

Cherry 9%
Raspberry 8%
Dulce De Leche 2%
Orange Cream 1%

Raspberry Starburst

Raspbery 8%
Sweet Cream 4%
Vanilla Swirl 4%
Cotton Candy 2%
Sweet and Tart Candy 2%

Orange Dream Cycle

Cherry 6%
Raspberry 6%
Orange 6%
Dulce de Leche 2%
Cotton Candy 5%

Red Licorice-Red Vines

Absinthe 2%
Red Vines 10%
Raspberry 7%
Sweetener 4%
Sweet cream 2%

Cool Breeze

Watermelon 9%
Blueberry Wild 7%
Menthol 4%
Raspberry 4%
Lemon Lime 2%
Koolada 2%
Cotton Candy 2%

Raspberry Frosted Danish

Raspberry 9%
Vanilla Custard 4%
Sweetener-3/Brown sugar-3 6%
Belgian Waffle 3%
Butter 3%
Sweet Cream 3%
Cream Cheese Icing 2%

Regarding Raspberry, I have found that it works wonders at about 2 - 5% to eliminate the chemical/floral flavor/taste on high flavor mixes. Start at about 2% and keep it below 5%, and you shouldn't taste it, but it will smooth out a troubling mix. So, a very useful flavor, and, for me, at least, a surprisingly good vape. Highly recommended. Good luck in your JuiceQuest! :toast: :D

Hello everyone. I don't visit this thread much anymore, but I am still dabbling in DIY. It is all I vape anymore. Still trying out single flavors and a few simple mixes. I have found a couple that I really enjoy, just thought I would share....

(TFA) 555 Tobacco - 3%
(TFA) Honey - 2%
makes for a honey-nut tobacco that I enjoy after two to three weeks of aging.

(TFA) M-Type Tobacco - 3%
(TFA) Vanilla Bourbon - 2%
again, two to three weeks of aging.

I also am liking the TFA Turkish at 3%. Thanks to all of those who helped me get started (Bill and Andrea come to mind). With about 3 gallons of total DIY supplies, I expect that I will be 'experimenting' for some time to come !

The long steeping you are experiencing can be significantly reduced, if you like, by increasing the percentages of flavoring you are using. 5% flavoring would likely take at least three weeks, or more. Percentages of say 15% - 25% would reduce steeping to perhaps 24 hours and would provide "steeped" flavoring, practically immediately. Either way, enjoy your VapeQuest, and thank you for sharing your recipes with us! Good luck! :toast: :D

    Somewhere between here and there
I received my order from Perfumer's apprentice yesterday. I didn't get anything new but got 4oz bottles for the first time. It is impressive to see that size of a flavoring bottle. I just got two that I found that I am using a lot of. They are cotton candy and lemon. The cotton candy is used in most of what I make and the lemon is used in Bill's lemon meringue pie which I still love and also in a tobacco menthol mix that I make. I came up with the tobacco menthol recipe when I first started DIY and didn't know about the 100DT. I just counted drops and experimented until I came up with something I liked. I would share the recipe but I don't have any idea what the percentages are. The ingredients include lemon, tobacco absolute, menthol, koolada, cotton candy(EM), and sour.
