What I got in today: Butterscotch, Hazelnut, banana cream, coconut extra, wild blueberry, blueberry extra, waffle, berry crunch, apple pie, and capella chocolate fudge brownie. What I had on hand before that: vanilla swirl, peanut butter, dbl choc clear, ripe strawberry, cotton candy, bavarian cream, lemn, dragon fruit, graham cracker clear, cheesecake with graham cracker crust, orange cream, black cherry, sweet cream, marshmallow, vanilla bean ice cream, vanilla cupcake, chai tea, and cinnamon danish. Capella flavors: sugar cookie, sweet strawberry, ny cheesecake, vanilla custard, butter cream, caramel, and cinnamon danish swirl. Also yellow cake by fw.

Got in my VZ alcohol concentrates in yesterday! Mixed up a 30ml batch of peach/apricot at 5% each flavor & WOW! I shoulda stuck with the 2.5% the website recommends! Had to cut it back with some B&M peach/mango I have. Next batch I'm gonna mix at 2.5% and add some TFA gram cracker cheesecake. Still learnin' but getting closer with each batch!

I have everything for this but the AP. I'm scared to use that. Haha. Does it add a lot of flavor or do I need it to make this?

Use it, just think "small".

I go along with what Bill said, about hazelnut -- don't have any pecan, but the hazelnut gives that nutty flavor, and yeah it's definitely from AP, but just a more subtle flavor than using straight AP. I've got the CAP hazelnut v2 and the TFA DX hazelnut; they're pretty similar, but I think the TFA is better; a more subtle flavor, and maybe a touch less AP-ish.

Hazelnut gives a nice subtlety to that Smocha I make; it seems a little smoky to me, plus it just adds... hmmm... depth?

Started DIY about one month ago and would like to thank every one here who helped me intentionally by answering a question I asked or unintentionally by posting helpful tips and delicious recipies
First started with single flavors and now experimenting with multiple
I did many mixtures some were not that good but still vapeable. Two of them were great to my taste buds so I had the courage to share them
Mix1: banana cream 10%, strawberry ripe 5% and ripe banana 5% and 0.2 ml sucralose for each 10 ml (trying to tweak it by raising strawberry to 10%). It needs steeping for 2 weeks

Mix2: raspberry 10%, grape 4%, strawberry ripe 4% and pineapple 2%

I haven't tried Lorann's raspberry,but their watermelon is pretty good,sort of a watermelon candy taste.I just didn't like the food coloring they put in most of their flavors.Their grape is such a deep purple,that even at 10% a mix with it will almost look black haha.

Good thing I hate grape! Lol. That's what scared me off the root beer too. It's like almost black in the container.

I did a 100DT about an hour ago and let it sit top off till five minutes ago because one of the flavors contains alcohol. I did the watermelon @ 5% and raspberry @ 2%, aiming for a light berry melon. It's pretty good, the raspberry is just coming through the watermelon.

The thing that turns me off is that it's bright neon bubblegum pink. I've vaped dyed juices before, but I don't like to.

I did have to run back to Wal-Mart today as we forgot coffee creamer on the weekly trip and picked up a pack of Butter Rum flavor as well. That one is a more natural light amber color, so I might gravitate towards that one...

Just a general observation, I'm thinking as soon as I get a shipment of flavors in, these are going to the circular file cabinet. It tastes as though they contain some sort of sweeteners and leave an odd filmy feeling in my mouth. *shudder*

I can't remember for sure,but i believe when i had my bottle of watermelon,that when i looked at the ingerdients,i think it has xanthan gum in it.If it does,that is where that film would come from.I use xanthan gum at work quite a bit,and when you get it wet,it gets slimey and will form a film on the container it's in.
There are some great Lorann flavors that don't have the coloring in them.Also,wizard labs has some of their flavorings,they carry the regular ones,and they also carry some called Loarnn naturals which i assume are the same flavors without the coloring.

Lorann's Cherry is that way too; very dark red, so that even when you use very little, it turns the juice bright pink. It's a strongly maraschino flavor, which might be good for some recipes, but not if you want a real cherry flavor -- TFA's Cherry Extract is the best I've found for that; not too tart, not too sweet, not medicinal-tasting (like cough syrup or cough drops) -- just a perfect goldilocks of a cherry flavor.

Actually I think it's the nicotine that causes that. I mixed the same liquid; 1 - 0 nic, 1 - 12 nic. The 12 nic ended up being darker over time and the 0 nic stayed the same.

I can deal with the getting darker over time. This mixed instant neon. I feel like I'm vaping highlighter juice!

The lite strawberry cheesecake recipe gets a little reddish over time and the lemon meringue pie recipe gets very dark.

Think about that juice, I think it's called Pluid? Doesn't it glow green like cartoon radiation or something? I think that would be fairly cool actually, but I cannot abide the taste of anise, not even a little bit. Ick ick ick.
