Hey guys, I'm about to place my order at TFA and I need some good recipes for graham cracker/ cheesecake pic crust recipes. Those are my fave some I'm trying to make some base flavors to attempt to perfect.

Does anyone have a really good recipe to recommend?

Thanks

Currently on a 26650 kick...

A couple of my favorites:

TFA Blueberry Wild 10-15%
TFA Cheesecake Graham Cracker 4-5%
TFA Marshmallow or Sweet Cream @ 1%

TFA Orange Cream 10%
TFA Vanilla Swirl 3%
TFA Sweet Cream 2%

Has anyone tried the lychee or dragon fruit flavors? I 've never had lychee or dragonfruit (the actual fruits), so I am kinda curious about how they taste. Also are they good as standalone flavors or are they normally used as mixers?

Thanks

Some like the Dragonfruit alone or in the "Dragons Blood Clone" recipe.

I don't really care for it yet, but I've only tried it in a couple of mixes so far...

Haven't tried the Lychee yet.

I have both. I haven't tried the lychee yet, but I am in the process of testing the dragonfruit. I have never had the actual dragonfruit either, so I have no idea whether it's authentic or not, but this is a very sweet flavor and unique. I'm not sure how to describe it as I've never had anything that tastes like it. But, if you want to sample it from a vendor, try Heather's Heavenly Vapes, the dragon line - dragon's blood, dragon's tears, etc.

I haven't tried the lychee yet, it's on my list if flavors to order.
I have tried dragon fruit a lot, because well I like it a lot. It tastes like a tamed down dragon fruit(flavor wise) but sweeter, IMO. It is an excellent flavor. I like it at 5-6% along with Bavarian cream at 5-6%. Add in some strawberry on top of that and let steep for a couple weeks and you have an excellent dragon's tear.

I like it in almost all my mixes. I have some of it in with my Caramel Cappuccino right now, just because I can, and it helps smooth it out to me.

I mixed up 5ml of Dragon fruit 5%, mango 5% and Bavarian creme 5% and it's steeped about two weeks now. It smells so good... but, the flavor is not the greatest. Does not match the smell. I think it's the mango. Too strong. I can't even taste the Dragon fruit. It's a good inhale, but the exhale has a powerful.... almost dirty or over ripe mango? Idk. Hard to describe:confused:.

So far all my flavors are TPA/TFA I LOVE LOVE LOVE the caramel cappucino, and the Mocha, but by far my absolute favorite is Vanilla Cupcake! It tastes like cake batter and frosting and needs no additional sweetners! I mix them all at 15%...

Are you drunk? =) how could you possibly mix Caramel Cappuccino at anything above 1%? Even at 1% it's terribly strong. Bears zero resemblance to any coffee I've ever tasted.

Anyone have any recommendations on sweetener %'s? I know it's going to depend on the flavor, but are there any warnings about the TFA sweetener? Like will it taste like acid if you go too high? I've noticed many of these flavors do that if you get silly with em. RIP my old evod plastic tank after the 30% spearmint fiasco of 2014.

o/ I'm having a bit of an issue with my blueberry. It lacks body. I can tastes ok upon exhale but just not strong enough. Is this common? I'm mixing at around 20% with sweetener. How much sweetener do you prefer? I'm having issues finding info about sweetener.

hahahahah, no doubt...the CC is oven cleaner as far as I am concerned.

If you have sucralose, I would start at 0.5% and work up, at no higher than say 4%. It can make your recipe taste different. What are you trying to sweeten? There may be a better flavor to use as a sweetener other than actual sweetener. Many fruits and creams add sweetness without the artificial taste and can be used in a low enough % as to not be detectable.

"Info About Sweetener"

I'll say it again only louder, SWEETENERS KILL FLAVORS.

You can try 30% but it won't get any stronger.

Options for adding sweetness without using artificial sweeteners aka sucralose:

Honeysuckle
Honey
Marshmallow
Sweet Cream
One of the sweeter fruits that adds sweetness yet very subtle flavor - Guava, Cantaloupe, Dragon Fruit at a very low %

Marshmallow and Honeysuckle are my go-to sweetening choices, depending on whether it's a rich or light flavor. I also personally love EM at low percentages, it tastes like sugar smells, though it doesn't taste like sugar. It's weird and I love it.

I don't use any proper sweetener, I think VG is pretty sweet by itself. Plus I'm not a fan of making all things as sweet as possible, I think too much sweetness takes away from the complexity of even simple flavors. I don't just mean sweeteners dulling flavor, which it sounds like they do and I know EM will if you use enough, but I mean you overlook the most interesting flavors when you cover them up with fake sugar taste.

So...
Experimenting with sweetener, oh no, not that again...

My coffee mug holds 250ml, (I measured it).
I used 3 drops of TFA sweetener in my coffee, and it's plenty sweet tho I normally use stevia.
3 drops in my 1ml syringe = .057 ml (.02 percent) in 250ml, (e juice me up).

Scale down the quantity of juice being made (typically 10ml) using .02 percent, added sweetener is .0023ml.

I can't measure that low without jumping through hoops diluting etc., bah, way to complicated for me.

It may be oversimplification to use coffee as an example, however it does in fact, hide a lot of the coffee flavor.

I think this is what Hoosier refers to as "butterfly farts" for some additives like sweetener.

I've tried every blueberry there is, and they all lack any flavor for me.
The only winner there is in the blueberry department for me is FA (Flavor Art) Bilberry.
If you go to Europe and ask for "blueberry" .. bilberry is what they serve you.
It's very strong .. 1% is all you need to use, and you definitely have "blueberry"
You do not need to add any sweeteners to it.
