Hello all!
Fantastic response to the Vape Meet here online. Thought I would clarify a few points.
The vape meet starts tomorrow and ends on Sunday, October 19, 2014. I know that not everyone has everything they may need, so that's why we have 15 days to figure out what we want to do, and enough time to get to it.
We will be trying to construct a Danish recipe. The recipes that get posted will only have the flavorings and their percentages. We don't expect any mixes to have more than 30% flavoring, but that is up to you.
The most important part of these efforts is our communications here on this thread. Ask questions, provide suggestions, provide mixes, etc. Just keep track of what you're doing and tell us all about it.
There is no one way, or final recipe. In fact, everyone may end up with a different recipe, and that's fine, more food for thought, and a lot of options for us all to try.
I see the flavoring as the doughy bread component and the sweet internal component. As such, the flavoring will be about 50/50 for the two components, but this can vary wildly by taste.
Use the taste test 100 drop method to test creations and test them immediately, and report findings. After flavor bonding and steeping, feel free to taste test again and report any changes, or lack thereof.
So, communication and supporting our community are the most important elements. IF we end up making the best Danish on Earth, well, then, lucky us!
We have no idea how this will work out as I'm not aware of similar efforts anywhere on ECF, so we'll just have to see and play it all by ear, so to speak.
There is no right or wrong, just contributions here. The journey is what is important, and helping one another.
There is NO LIST. Anyone can participate and we everyone to do just that. We have the common goal of making the best Danish we can, and there is no one flavoring, or fruit, or what have you. All contributions are welcome!
There may be other elements and good advice, but this is all I can think of now.
See you tomorrow!
