I use rayon for wicking too redeuler

I got my horchata smooth in

I use rayon too,way better vape than i ever got from cotton or silica.
I can't remember if i asked you or not,did you get a chance to try that horchata smooth yet?I got mine saturday, and made a sample at 5%,i thought it was horrible, nothing like any horchata i have ever tasted haha.I now have tfa horchata base, smooth, and capella horchata,so i think between the three i may be able to mix them up and get close hopefully.
First time I ordered from tfa directly, so how long does an order take to be delivered? I'm pretty sure I got two day shipping, $11.55 shipping option..ordered Friday night.. probably going to wait longer for base though.

I'm gonna start managing my finances better..lol. Funny..not having hardly any flavoring, no base either- been using Wal-Mart/humco VG.

Where does everyone get their base? I just ordered from Amazon...43 ounces for like $13 bucks..32ounces pg for $10.. both are from essential depot.

They are very fast on their shipping.I have done 4 orders with them so far.The first 3 i ordered on thursday morning's before i left for work, and had them on saturday,1 was sent priority and the other 2 were first class, all still arrived in 2 days.I put my 4th order in on saturday, and it shipped today,so i will have it wednesday.

That vg from walmart is actually pretty good stuff,i have used it several times. The stuff you ordered from essential depot is good too, that's what i am using now. When money permits, you can get a gallon each of pg and vg direct from essential depot for $59 for both with shipping included.

Don't feel bad. I can't make them with TFA flavorings either. One of the mysteries of the vaping world....Cheesecake that is. I don't even use the flavoring as a supporting/secondary flavoring either. I can't get it to work. If you do, though, please let me know. Sometimes, duplicating the flavor does not duplicate the taste experience, and I suspect cheesecake falls into that category, with its rich robust taste and texture. Flavorings, alone, might just not do it.....we may just need a couple of pounds of cream cheese, eggs, butter, cream and sugar. If it doesn't stick to the roof of my mouth, how can it be cheesecake?

:2cool: :vapor:

I have to wonder if your new cream cheese icing would be of any use... I imagine it's probably a lot sweeter than a cheesecake, but cream cheese and cheesecake are a match made in heaven!

The flavor is LA cola..I believe..it is a black cola syrup flavor..

Those no-no's are in food, yes, but those no-no's are only dangerous when inhaled. My body is already ....ed up enough from chemicals I've put in it.. I commented like that on the butyric acid because when I asked about it weeks ago, someone commented, "well, it says it's a lung irritant in the description.." but anything can be irritating to the lungs in the right quantities.
I'm all the way across the country..in hellabama.
Ok... I don't see anything called "Black Cola", so I am guessing you mean "Cola" and the color is darn near black. Without too much of a stretch, I'd say that flavor was your black juice culprit! My suggestion? I'd pick up some of this: COLA FLAVOR. I believe you'll find that the coloring your juice oddly won't happen any longer. Be mindful however, cola in general is a plastic tank cracker. I recommend glass/pyrex/stainless etc if you're creating something with that sort of flavor. Just my :2c:

I understand your concerns about inhaling certain chemicals. I am not saying that *I* am not. But there are a few different TFA flavors that now come (just type DX in the search up top to find all of them at once) what I like to call "concern chemical free" in one hand and "new chemical curious" on the other. I won't disagree with you... anything in enough quantity will not make our lungs happy!!!! Then again......

I smoked for 30 years  Somehow I believe that does NOT give me a right to talk about anything that's healthier or not when it comes to inhalants lol Quite the opposite!

Agreed on rayon and horchata smooth, I smelled it and was like wth????!!!! This smells nothing like what I expected, I really like gremlins' s horchata...expected that or close to it...gah nothing remotely close:( I just got it Saterday, you did ask about eggnog before though. I didn't mix, just didn't feel ambitious after a whiff, more likely a slight recoil in some confusion

Yes tfa orders 2 days CA to PA for me, they are quick imho.

What are you looking for? A cream, pie, shake, Danish, fruits only, etc.?

Oops sorry I didn't specify. Looking for a realistic flavor on this one, like a bowl of blueberries and cut up bananas. Some creaminess would be cool too, and a bit of sweetnes. Pretty open to just about anything really

Ok,i knew i asked you about a flavor but couldn't remeber which one,i completely forgot about the eggnog haha.Yeah, the way that horchata smells is actually better than it tastes haha,i'm going to give it a few days, and if it doesn't get any better, then the finished juice will go down the drain, and the flavoring may very well be right behind it haha.

By the way,i had never heard of gremlin before,so i had to look them up.I think i may have to order a small bottle from them, the prices are decent and the horchata has very good reviews. This seems to be a flavor i could chase forever and never nail it down,so if their's is good,i may have to spring for the 120ml bottle haha

I'm in!!!!!

(ok, I actually LOST weight when I quit smoking-this research is going to start being counterintuitive after a while LOL  YUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!):thumb::headbang:

This one definitely sounds interesting.I've only tried a milkshake vape once,it was a recipe i found for a chocolate shake,it was soooo bad that i'm scared to even take the cap off to dump it haha,to say it was horrible would be giving it a compliment. After that one,i have never attempted another.

Malted Milk

My wife gets a peanut butter cup from one shop and a smores from another. I rewicked her RBA last night, broke it in, and asked her why it tasted like malted milk. She mixed a little of this and a little of that and... surprise.

So someone should play around with pb, chocolate, marshmallow, graham, sweeteners, and see what happens.

Oh Wow-please make that next. P.O.E.T's newest flavor is a pumpkin roll with bourbon, hmm.. not sure about the bourbon but a pumpkin roll sounds delish

Has anyone here tried Hansen italian cream to their cheesecake mixes in small %'s yet?

Saline at 2% not effecting flavor for me, I need to give it time to see if helps moisterize vape, cold weather here in pa lately and forced air heat in house, I'm really just trying to prevent nose bleeds which have been an issue for me in winter when I was smoker and increased with vaping...worth a try as long as not hurting flavor.

I have no ideas for next flavor family either yet, Ren is right, Bill nailed pies...what next??? Fall seasonal mixes? Wasn't someone working on a pumpkin roll?

Lol I thought my youngest closed out prior post before stole kindle to play games, guess he posted for me after all....hence my nose bleed redundancy, sorry

When my eliquids get darker in color is this just due to the nicotine getting darker as air hits it?
I have not even started DIY yet, I am more referencing liquids that I have purchased and allowed to steep.
Thanks

Yes, the contents of the liquid are oxidizing. You'll find that in your DIY juice as well. It's completely normal.

Usually means you are burning the juice. If a tank starts at one color and finishes at a darker color, you're burning the juice. Reni is referring to bottled juice getting darker over time, which is normal. Not sure which situation you are referring to, though, so thought I would give you both explanations. :D

Do you have any other "bread type" flavors?

I'm going to go :offtopic: here.
I know we are working strictly with TFA, but for your own personal use, try the Inawera "Biscuit" sometime.
Not the "Spicy" Biscuit, just the regular one.
Yummy stuff, kinda like a "scone" flavor ... great with fruits, and bakery recipes.
Sorry about going outside the box, but it doesn't hurt to have a few good flavors by a different company hanging around.
OK Bill, you can chew me out now
