Hi all, been busy dealing with work, fall leaves, and everyday life. I have managed to play around with Bill's Danish recipes though. I really love this stuff, sweet and tasty. I made some with blueberry, another with Caps sweet strawberry, and some with juicy peach. All have a subtle difference that makes them unique. I still have apple, lemon, raspberry and pumpkin(not spice)to try in the danish recipe. Can't wait to see how they turn out.
Also, put together Bill's chocolate cream pie. For me it seems very light. The whip cream portion of the pie was spot on but I'm terrible with anything chocolate. I tried it with fudge brownie instead of milk chocolate, and it seemed better for me. I have more tweaking to do on that one.
One thing I have learned is that I will be ordering more creams and vanillas in large sizes in the near future. I never thought what a huge difference these "must haves" make when bringing life to an O.K. mix....8-o

I am looking for banana pudding recipe

This is a custard from Bill's arsenal of recipes. Not a pudding recipe, but may get you in the ball park. Delete the mango for banana, and maybe include some graham cracker or pie crust or both to get you close.

Mango 11%
Cotton Candy 7%
Vanilla Custard 6%
Bavarian Cream 6%

He called it Mango Custard I believe

Correct, Mango Custard...Please please tell me I'm not the only one who reads Bill's awesome blogs pages. He has most of his recipes listed for all to use. I usually have a tab open and parked on his blog.8-o

Well I guess maybe I am odd because I prefer ripe strawberry to the fake candy strawberry.

I LOVE strawberry ripe

I felt odd too, but am so fond of it...it's my favorite strawberry so far

I also...prefer malted milk over sweet cream, shhhh..I guess my taste buds are odd???

Has anyone seen Ren around on ecf? Is she still visiting?

Not odd at all. Maybe I'm odd! Taste is just so subjective. My taste buds went wackamo in about 1974, I think, so this is why I say over and over and over, to flavor to YOUR TASTES. It's all good! :toast:

Ok I have lost where bills blog post is what post number was it?

Also I have been working a lot with strawberry and fonding out I am habing to use strawberry ripe along with it to make it taste right at almost the same precentages is this normal or am I crazy?

Blog to the left under my name!

Yes, I like to use Strawberry Ripe and Sweet together. There are obviously recipes where one will work better than another. Chocolate and Ripe Strawberries may work better than Chocolate and Sweet Strawberries. Why? Because the sweet tends to meld to the chocolate, and the ripe strawberry stands out better against the sweeter chocolate. WE NEED BOTH! :D

Was going to try Pink Starburst. I noticed that it calls for Sweet and Tart. I have Sweet Tarts that I ordered a while back and when I just looked on TFA's site I don't see sweet tarts, just sweet and tart. Is it the same thing?

The recipe I believe calls for TFA Sweet and Tart. I would go ahead and use TFA Sweet and Tart with it. :toast:
