Been in the wood shop a lot lately, and not in the Vape Lab.
As several of our veterans have said, these juices and their recipes are what work for us individually based on our own taste sensitivities using the gear we vape with. I use a good RTA (Taifun GT), and mix for that application. These juices may well be too strong on some drippers. That being said, I know dripper users who think my recipes are too weak!
So, as others have said, these recipes need to be tweaked to work for you. I can only really make juice that I like. This seems somewhat obvious, but try making a juice that you don't like! I made a tobacco, Brandon's Choice, a few weeks/months ago. Tastes absolutely horrible to me and the missus, Jo. However, daughter Megan and her friends really, really liked it. I don't know to this day if it's any good or not, and there has been very little reporting about it on this thread, so I still don't know, but I know I don't like it, and therefore, can't improve it for others.
Some of you have figured out that I love desserts, sweet creamy vanilla deserts. Did I mention sweet? This is my cup of tea, but perhaps, not yours. So, take what you can and what works for you, and change it to work with you. I have tried to show HOW to make good juices, not a list of all my recipes. For the most part, I have listed only TFA recipes on this thread, though that is only a third of my recipes overall. My blogs mainly have only TFA recipes. It's hard enough trying to figure out DIY without having to also figure out what flavorings from what vendors. As such, I don't mention too often that there are some great flavors out there that are not made by TFA, and for which TFA has no substitute. That being said, remember that it's DIY, literally delicious relatively inexpensive juice that matches our taste preferences. This is more a learning experience rather than merely making recipes, and closer to cooking, than anything else I can think of.
Isn't it true that adding butter and garlic and olive oil to anything makes it better? Maybe not, but it works for me, and everything I cook has garlic, sea salt, butter, possibly cream, etc. in it. Wonderful.....for me. So, no doubt your tastes are different, variety is the true spice of life, and so there is a literal endless variety of flavors and tastes that we can create to match our
vaping pleasure. I've also said many times that it is the journey that makes this fun, and not always the result, which sometimes is not so good. So, I've tried to help with a few of the basic things which can make juice really good, and the rest is up to you. Happy DIY'ing, happy
vaping, and happy Holidays! Best to you!
