Heartland vapes is running a liter of 100mg for $45 right now.I've bought 4 liters from them,been using them for a long time now,good stuff,plus they sell flavors,so when i bought a liter the other day i added some 4oz. bottles of some tfa flavors so i only have to wait on 1 package haha.
Congratulations DarthEmma! That's a really nice one. Amazon had a great deal on the "VP" (comes with the case). Most of the other places I checked wanted as much for the PTD600 without the case.
Amazon had dropped the price to $86 on it (with case) on Monday afternoon. So, I snagged one. It's back up to $106 today. I'm very happy with it. It easy to use and prints great. It also can be connected to a computer.

I accidentally grabbed my LorAnns Almond instead of my TFA
WAAAAAY too much of LA Almond! However, I was able to tone it down with about 0.5% CAP Wild Cherry, and sir, you have landed me at something that completely reminds me of a pipe tobacco that my Dad used to smoke.... Thank you for reviving that memory of him.... I've wanted to find something along this line, but I've been leery of tobacco flavors - I don't like the floral/grassiness, and I don't really want the ashy/smokey background that I've found in the few tobacco juices that I've previously tried. This is what I want

Yea, some great prices on 1 liter out there.
Ecig has 1 litre 100mg for $40.
But 1 litre is like a 5 year supply for me!
Just starting DIY, I figure I will pay the premium for a smaller quantity.
Way to go Bill! I gave a 15ml bottle of the pink starburst to the guy at my 7-11 the other night. Apparently him, his wife and his brother all loved it, and his wife stole the rest for herself haha.

My favorite place to buy TFA flavors is Wizzard Labs. They sell 8ml bottles of TFA flavors for $1.49. That's twice as much for $.09 more !
I've never tried the vt nic,so i can't say how they compare.I have been using heartland for about 8 months now though,it's pretty smooth and no bad taste to it.I had nic from wizard before this,and while the wizard wasn't bad either,i prefer the heartland.I'm still working through the first liter i bought from them,but i have 3 more sitting in the freezer haha.

Dx bavarian cream probably would be my suggestion and another cream or vanilla...I'd rec reading Bill's blogs, page 3 actually has a nice list of tfa basic/starter flavors and he has a lot of tips/tricks/recipes too. yes bcv oos but he does restock relatively quickly usually, I know it's hard waiting though, I rarely have patience waiting too long honestly...I also used wizard labs too for small trial flavorings starting out, still do. I liked wl nic, but I mix at low level, never got a peppery taste.
Anyway welcome to diy and the accumulation of flavors, it's fun to make your own

All I've used is the VT throat hit and no complaints here. I'm down to 6mg now so it helps keep the "throat hit" intact. And at 6mg, this little bottle should last for moooonths. Bought it in November and I'm barely a quarter of the way through it.Recs on Nic?

I want to use only diketone free flavors, hard to do with the creams.
The primary reason for wanting to DIY is to avoid the diketones and know what's in my juice.
And saving money is a wonderful second!
On that note, I'll add Vanilla Bean Gelato also as ya'll seem to like it.
And guess I'll go with just the cotton candy, thanks.

I really want to avoid using any flavors listed as having diketones.
Sweet Cream: This product contains Acetoin: >1%
Bavarian Cream: This product contains Acetoin: <0.5%
Granted, it shows small amounts and only uses Acetoin.
Hoping the Dx bavarian cream, Vanilla Swirl and Vanilla Bean Gelato will be a good place to start.
And I'll add some French Vanilla Creme.
Nah I don't find the VT stuff too harsh. Sometimes in my Magma it is but that's because its a dripper and usually cause of my crappy coil builds haha. I've dripped 12 and 10mg in it with no trouble, but I may start making "dripper only" batches at 3mg..
