@ItTechy - May I ask what the number/number represents in the newest list of percentages? I thought it might be a rating but then I saw:
Blueberry(Extra) Flavor 10-13% 6/5 :) well perhaps he uber liked it? :)

I think someone had a typo when they originally did it :D

I mixed 18 recipes last night, and I had to laugh.
As I get done with each flavoring, I line them up according to company for putting away when I'm finished.
I think I had 1 CAP Vanilla Custard, a few LA's, about 7 FA's, some VZ, etc. ...and a TON of TFA.
Although I have some favorites from each company, the majority is turning out to be from TFA.
Just a few from the others, and I'm done ordering from CAP, with the exception of 2 or 3 flavors I like.
**********************
Andria says .... "THAT really annoyed me. So now if I'm mixing and he commences chattering at me, I turn around and give him the "hurry up already!" look."
 I'm with ya Andria ... I do the same thing.
Hopefully he will get the message someday ... he's starting too, .. he knows "that Look" :p, and is starting to say "OOoops, later"
Also glad to see you took my suggestion on the "Throat Hit" nic from VT, and it's working for you.
In turn, I took your suggestion on the Shisha Strawberry , lov'in it, (but can't go your 15%)
Just mixed some up last night with Bav Cream, and INW Biscuit
I've bought the flavoring in 4oz bottles, and threw it in the freezer, since my stupid state is trying to stop any buying of e-cig supplies over the web.
Yes, (any) flavoring is just one of the supplies on their list ... but we can buy the "other stuff" here :grr:
Buying flavoring will probably get shot down, but I'm not one to take chances ;)
Who is VZ in the world of flavorings? As if my debacle of adding double the flavoring to my Banana Nut Bread, my daughter and I realized this morning that about 1/2 of the flavors she handed me (she was the assistant and handing me things I called out for) 1/2 of the flavors were from the big box of flavors someone sent me that had a lot of VZ flavorings in them. I bought all needed flavors for BNB from TFA and found the unopened bottles today on my desk. So I ask her "hey how in the world did we make the Banana Nut Bread when these unopened bottles of Banana Nut Bread, Vanilla Bean Ice Cream are still on my desk. She says "I got them out of that box over there on your chair" Sure enough we used half VZ flavors!

VZ is Vaping Zone. On my phone or would send a link. Their flavors have a reputation of being strong from what I have heard.

A few of them are strong, but not very many.
Some of the "Concentrated" are stronger than the "Super" Concentrated, and are even better than the "Gourmet"
I have a few that I would not go without, (yummy yummy), but most of them have been a big letdown with my taste buds.
After doing a lot of testing, I don't pay any attention to what they call it, as it doesn't live up to what they imply

Sure enough we used half VZ flavors!
I could give you a list of the "good stuff', but that would just be my opinion.
What flavors do you have ?? "Opinionated mind wants to know :p

Well the flavors that I used were Banana Nut Bread and Vanilla Bean Ice Cream. Love to hear your opinions on those

These are all opinions on testing them solo only .. not in a recipe.
Remember, my taste buds are kinda shot
I have:
Banana nut bread-concentrate I had to go up to 18% with it, and it was OK, but very mild
Cinnamon Danish-concentrate 20% was yums
Cinnamon Sugar Cookie-concentrate don't have this one
Cotton Candy-Concentrate this is just straight EM, and for me, is used as a sweetener
Vanilla Bean Ice Cream-Concentrate don't have this one
Cheesecake-Concentrate went all the way up to 18%, and it had no flavor to me .. but then, I can't taste any cheesecake by other companys' either ... must be me

Then I have:
Cream-Super Concentrate I have it, but haven't tried it on it's own yet. Usually I like to try the creams with a fruit that I like, just to see how it changes it, since most of the creams don't have much of a flavor on their own.
Caramel Candy-Super Concentrate at 6%, it had no flavor to me. I'm told it needs 10% or better, but I haven't tried that yet.

Then I have:
9 bottles of things called VZ-SC Gourmet
Raspberry have it, just haven't got to it yet
Wild Berries Oh WOW .. super strong, start with 1 drop in 10ml. If you find it strong, you can always dilute some of the flavoring itself 50/50 with PG or VG, and try that.
Mandarin I have this one in SC, but haven't tried it yet
Strawberry tried it at 4% which may have been to strong, but still, it had a yucky "off" taste I didn't like .. gave it away
Sweet Orange don't have, but would like to try it some day
Sweet Vanilla super mild at 6%
Cake Ahhh, super tricky to find the right % to use, but I LOVE it. It's not really "cake" ... but has a mild lemon flavor that is yummy. I mix it at 2% ..It requires a LONG steep. Because it take so long to mature, people think they didn't add enough flavoring, but if it ends up sitting around for a while, they see the difference. Make two bottles, forget one for 2 months, and test the other one each week. You will see the difference in flavor and coloring.
Cream and Charlotte I only add 1 drop in 3-5ml, .. it's strong, and another long steeper .. still playing with the "sweet spot" on this one, percentage wise.
I cannot read but looks like something with the word "Sponge" in it. It's "Vanilla Sponge Cake SCG". It's suppose to taste like a "Twinky". It's good at 7% solo, and it's good when added to any fruits. Another long steeper, as are most all of VG's line of SCG No sweetener needed with it, or any of the SCG line in my opinion.

OOpps ... I wrote all the responses inside the quote.
You will have to "expand it too read them .. changes in the new program I guess.
I love some of VG's gourmet (SCG) line. The Coffee Mocha, Caramel Mocha, and Chocolate Truffle are "staples" for me. They are all yummy just solo. Having to wait for their long steep times is a killer, so I stay way ahead of myself in mixing juices.
You will find, with the VG SCG flavors, that if you mix them for shake and vape flavor, you better not let them age.
Have fun in your "lab", and let me know how it turns out.
Someone was very generous, since they cost about $8 apiece ...enjoy

I have several VZ flavors. I know this a TPA/TFA thread, but since it was brought up I thought I'd reply to that. I love the gourmet line and many of the Super Concentrated flavors. The gourmet flavors are VERY strong (one or two drop per 2ml). I really like a lot of the VZ flavors.

So does the SC stand for Super Concentrate?
All your words are very interesting because remember I was following the BNB with TFA and it called for so little BNB flavor that I doubled it:facepalm::facepalm: So given what you are saying about it being mild no wonder I liked it better when I doubled it...YAY
This is all great news because for some reason I had it in my head that this was the flavoring MBV used.
I am copying your words and adding them to a Word Doc and THANK YOU Slots!

Just in case any of you folks run into this with MAC', or IPads...

You will need Winzip for the IOS from the App store.

Zip is a compression format native originally to DOS, and then Winzip for Windows....they forgot about the Mac users...so now there is Winzip for the IOS!

Likewise DMG files are the native compression utility (format) for Mac' takes a special utility for Windows users as we cannot work with DMG files without an add-on called 7-Zip which handles various compression utilities for Windows users.

Not to confuse but there is also a 7-Zip for Mac' now as well...(not sure if it is available from the App store, but if you want it just Google 7-Zip for Mac).

To be honest I'm not sure of the features or differences in Winzip vs. 7-Zip for the Mac platforms, I do know that originally 7-Zip handled more formats than Winzip (for Windows), now they are probably very similar....

:toast:

Just catching up and grabbing the zip file now.. Just FYI Im a long time Mac user, you dont need anything to open zip files, Mac OS X can do it natively, its always been able to. ;)

THANK YOU Slots!
Yes, SC means Super Concentrate in the VZ flavorings.
MBV uses Flavor West (FW) for the majority of the flavorings, and FW is know for being weak.
FW themselves recommends starting at 15%.

I don't mind answering your questions, but since this is a TFA thread, just "conversation" me next time when asking about other company's flavoring OK. Glad to help but ...
I don't want to get in trouble with Bill ;)

Oh yes so sorry, I should have done that in the first place. I sort of just started thinking I was in a DIY thread. Pardon Bill:)

For the record, I do not work for, nor enforce for TFA. I do like their flavorings, for the most part, above other brands for the many reasons that have been discussed on this thread many times. If you are looking for flavor components to create complex mixes, you cannot do better than TFA, imho. I also use other brands and occasionally post recipes with other brand flavorings, as TFA has some gaps in their flavor arsenal, so to speak. For example, I love cookies and cream, and oreo cookies recipes. I have not been able to recreate that flavoring with TFA alone. However, Flavor West has that flavoring, and I use it for those recipes. I encourage discussion about all of these issues within the context of this being a TFA thread. I rarely see any conflict on this thread from the many members who regularly participate here. Just sayin'.... Good luck to you all! :toast: :D

Got my order today, $300 worth of flavors.... I don't know what the heck I'm doing...lol. but going to give it my best shot. Why I got so many I don't know BUT every recipe I I looked at used a different flavor so figured better to have it on hand in case I see something I want to try. Still need to get bottles. I have a few but need more. I did follow a recipe for a lucky charms juice that is not too bad so I have hope.

Thanks, I am excited and nervous at the same time....that is a lot of money I could have spent on vendor juice if this doesn't pan out for me but I have to think positive....I think I can...I think I can....lol
I prefer plastic only because I hate the drippers that the glass bottles use. I drip 99% of the time and those Yorker spouts are easy peasy to use to fill other bottles or drip etc.... Although I may find glass to be easier to work with.
