I worked on my fruit and cream experiment some more this evening. The total amount of flavoring in that last recipe I posted was so godawful, I went over it very carefully, brought the main fruit flavors down just slightly, and eliminated the coconut and the ethyl maltol; neither really seemed to bring that much to the recipe, other than increasing the flavor percentage and therefore probably also the gunk-factor.
Here's the revised recipe:
TFA Blueberry Extra 6.50%
TFA Juicy Peach 5%
INW Shisha Strawberry 5%
TFA Vanilla Swirl 5%
TFA DX Bavarian Cream 4%
TFA Sweetener 5%
Which brings the total flavoring down to a far more reasonable 30.5%. I guess it's essentially Cream Fantastico plus peach, minus cotton candy or ethyl maltol. Again, the 5% sweetener is just 'cuz I love sweet; most would probably be happier with it around 2%-3%. And I still think banana would be a great addition to this, but I don't currently have any. Maybe banana cream, to add more to the creaminess factor.
BTW, it's terrific -- I was afraid that cutting down the main fruit flavors would make it weaker, but it's not, not at all, and I think leaving out the coconut also improves the TH. Of course I just mixed it a couple hrs ago, gave it a ferocious shaking and let it sit for a couple hrs; it should be even better tomorrow.
