Yea, I use a plastic clearo at work so I don't shatter it and I can tell you that several of the flavors will. I personally don't trust any citrus, banana, cola, root beer.....several others. I use the list on the Mt Baker site as a general guide of reactive flavors. I figure it probably carries across most flavor makers fairly consistently.

Another is cinnamon.I questioned about it a while ago,so Bill did a test, and sure enough it melted his plastic tank in a pretty short time. The cinnamon will not only melt plastic,it will also eat silicone o-rings and seals, which is why i questioned about it.I don't use plastic tanks much, but the juice i was using kept eating my o-rings and i was thinking it was probably the cinnamon.

Has anyone tried the FA Mango?

Was reading about the philippine Mango.

If so, is it good?

(TPA) Philippine Mango which is supposed to be much better.

I've heard that a lot lately....I ordered that flavor a couple days ago.

Bill's Mango custard is one of my ADV !!! I bought the Philippine Mango in the 15ml .. made a batch with the same recipe , had to drop the Cotton candy a bit .. and I turned around the next day and ordered a 4 oz bottle .. that's how good that stuff is :)

I do that with the milkshake recipe from the dropbox. I mix the milkshake and then put 20-22% of that in for a base.

add 4 % Strawberry Ripe , 2% Strawberry .. and it is a wonderful vape.. I eliminated the Koolada.. my throat doesn't like that stuff :)

Love the mango custard! I may have to order some of the Philippine Mango and use it next time :)

Once the so-called tank crackers are mixed in complete solution, there's only three or four that will eat through plastic. Also, the tank cracker flavors are always added last to the mixture, and never first. You will know that you have mixed in the wrong order when the solution turns milky. However, add the milky solution to the other flavors and VG, Nicotine and PG, the milky flavor goes away 99% of the time. The milky viscosity can also be caused by alcohol, I'm told by a chemist friend, so another fyi to be aware of. 99% of the time, when completely mixed with all of the ingredients together, the tank crackers will not crack tanks. Now, repeat that ten times. I have a blog about this mixing order in my blogs.

Of the flavors above, I have used the following without a problem, keeping in mind that mix sequence is crucial, as explained above:

Absinthe
Almond Amaretto
Blueberry
Cherry Extract
Cinnamon Danish
Cinnamon Spice
Citrus Punch
Cola
Graham Cracker (Clear)
Green Apple
Holiday Spice
Key Lime
Lemon
Lemon Lime
Malic Acid (Sour)
Mango
Maraschino Cherry (PG)
Milk Chocolate
Orange Cream
Peach
Peach Juicy
Pear
Pineapple
Ripe Banana
Root Beer
Root Beer Float
RY4 Double
Smooth
Sour
Spearmint
Sweet & Tart
Vanilla Bean ice Cream
Vanilla Custard
Wintergreen

To reiterate, I have NOT had a problem with the above. When I have a doubt, I use a glass syringe with the offending flavor, added LAST to the flavor mix, added FIRST to the VG and VG Nic. In this way, I've never had a problem with any of them, and some of those above I use every single day. Because TFA uses different bottles for the offending flavors (in the larger sizes), you can easily determine the tank crackers, and, of the list mentioned in the previous post, maybe three or four only will go on to eat the plastic and O-rings if left, say, overnight. Again, 99.5% of the TFA flavors can be used without a problem, provided care is taken in the mix sequence. Glass syringes, glass beakers, glass tanks is all I ever use with any of those juices. I use plastic syringes 99% of the time, buy them by the case, and learn pretty quickly (and inexpensively) which are the "Bad ones." It is not nearly the problem that the available information sometimes makes it seem. Good luck to you and happy vaping! :2c: :toast: :D

A lot of people must go through more liquid than I do. I've been using out of the same 500ml bottle for two or three months now and still have half left. I know it's cheaper to buy bulk VG and use 100mg nic but I still buy 36mg. It's what I'm used to using and it works for me. I still use anywhere from 20-30mg and I go back and forth on my VG and pg percentage.
A lot depends on your vaping style and the equipment that you use. If you use a sub-ohm high wattage setup, then you're going to use a lot more liquid than someone using a high ohm, low wattage setup. Also if you chain vape instead of puffing on it occasionally, you'll use more liquid...

Thanks for the post. There's a lot of flavors on the list that surprised me. I know I've vaped some of them in plastic tanks over the last couple of years, so maybe they're tank crackers in higher concentrations.

Oh yea, definitely. I sub ohm, not crazy high wattage and lately I've had some bad days where I've practically chain vaped all day. I went through over 35ml of juice that day. Yesterday wasn't so bad, less than 10. :)

    Somewhere between here and there
I use both sub ohm and lower wattage. I probably use less because I still mix at higher mg. Even on my sub ohm set ups I'm running around 20mg. I have actually cut back from 24mg in my sub ohm setups. I recently mixed down to 15mg in one and seem to be doing ok with it.
