    Somewhere between here and there
I pulled a really dumb move last night. I was doing a 100dt on a new recipe and my small bottle of Bavarian cream was empty. I grabbed the bigger bottle and before I could catch myself, I filled the recipe bottle instead of the Bavarian cream bottle. I had already added everything for the recipe except the BC so had to dump it out.

Oh, Bill...have to tell you I love your Cream Fantastico! I made a few minor adjustments to suit my taste...and it's now one of my ADV, and a friend loves it too, after trying mine! So far, I'm having really good luck with your recipes and getting things I really like made from them. Thanks again!
    Good to hear!

Sometimes, it's quite interesting how different seemingly non-complementary flavorings, work incredibly well together. The Cream Fantastico would fall into that category, for sure. It's really good on its own, but also works amazingly well as its own flavoring, a base, if you will, used with several other combined flavorings. Fun to play with.

I get a lot of ideas from flavor tasting at different flavor bars in vape shops out there. Occasionally, I'll mix a couple of completely different flavorings together at the flavor bar, and then rush home to make something new. Peaches and Pears comes to mind, among others. Just a fun hobby, and one that probably saved my life by quitting smoking several years ago now. Best to you! :2c: :toast: :D

Depending upon how large your little recipe bottle was...and being the bargain-hunter that I am, I'd have probably saved it. Maybe the other flavorings would've been hardly noticeable compared to the amount of Bav. Cream in it. You could've made your own wonderful "concoction" out of it, using alittle of it at a time with other flavorings, too, maybe? :)

Bill - I also forgot to tell you that while I was posting about the Cream Fantastico...I was actually vaping your Flamingo! It's another one I really like, but I'm finding that anytime I use a TFA flavoring, or any other brand, that contains EA...I absolutely have to either let it evaporate out before vaping it, or substitute another flavoring that doesn't have it. For example, now I use TFA Strawberry Ripe instead of plain TFA Strawberry because of it. Same thing with TFA Juicy Peach in recipes...I just use Peach instead if I don't want to do the evaporating routine. Otherwise I get a bad headache. But once the EA has gone poof, it's wonderful, too!

Bill - I made a comment on your 100DT blog entry nearly a week ago. If you get a sec, could you make a comment. Thanks.
Your question was asking about 100DT's and about how you mix your ingredients one by one into the juice as you find the "happy place" for each ingredient. I responded on the blog as follows:

No, I mix all the ingredients and test for taste ATM, adjusting sometimes multiple ingredients at a time. The most iterations that I have ever used is 8, and I usually will make four 100DT's to nail down a juice, as you did, though you're trying to do it one ingredient at a time. Whichever way works for you is the best way. Because I can usually detect up to five different flavors in a mix, I can usually make two or more flavor adjustments at a time. That being said, we're all different, and our tastes are unique, so whichever way works for you is the way to go. Good luck! :toast: :D

    The State of Confusion
Just got in from Germany....it's like 7:30 AM to me, but it's not....LOL

    Dang time differences...

I did learn something very interesting....living in the South and all...

We think in the US we like / love to BBQ...nah...

The Germans have BBQ shops the size of Bass Pro shops with every grill and smoker and accessory imaginable!

I went to a place in Cologne, Germany that was the size of a Bass Pro and was nothing but grilling stuff, BBQ' from every company in every color shape and size...
