During the release of the "InnokinDisrupter/Cell" Giveaway Contest here on ECF the discussions during some of the "Quick-Fire" Questions were about the "Future of Vaping" that included a lot of great ideas and even suggestions from people about how Innokin Products could be improved upon . . . Which got "Me" to thinking . . .

Now that @innokin has their own sub-forum here on ECF - Why Not Let "Us" Continue Those Discussions . . .

OKAY - So What Do "You" Think is going to be "The Future Of Vaping" . . . Or - The Next Innovations . . . AND - Better yet, What would "You" like to see @innokin Develop or Implement in the future . . .

So - Get "Your" Thinking Caps On . . .

I'd love to see a slim as possible variable wattage tube/square box that could be configured with different batteries like 18350 to 18650. I'm thinking something really slim reminiscent of the itaste series. I'm sure it'll be difficult to fit everything into such a small package, but without a charging board it shouldn't be too bad.

For Innokin I would suggest:

1. A simple RDA. I know Innokin made one once, but it's designed quirky and doesn't perform without major modding. Look at the overall design of the most popular drippers right now.
They are incredibly simple. Make the airflow right, and quality posts.
Instant winner.

2. Make a mechanical tube mod.
It doesn't need flash or tricks, just a simple mod made with Innokin quality.
Again, the most popular mechanicals today aren't elaborate devices, they are simple and functional.

3. Innokin B&M stores.
After regulations pass, and we get an idea of the playing field, I propose a few dedicated Innokin stores. Innokin has the name recognition, reputation for quality and customer service, it's the next logical step to conquering the marketplace. ;)
(I would be interested in opening an Innokin store over a "vape store")

Like what - Can Ya' give an example of what they might consist of ? ? ?

For toppers:
a base unit which can thread truehybrid, or with an adapter thread to standard 510 interface (examples: 3d rda, gp heron rta)
rba coil heads which screw into the base unit (examples: subtank mini, youde goliath)
alternative parts to go on top of this base unit, to use as an rda, rta, or even a squonker/squisher
multiple rda topcaps (sometimes best to have a topcap with just 1 airhole; one topcap might be top air intake, or 'raised intake')
chuff cap design

for mods:
a tube mod and a box mod where the topcap and bottom cap of the tube mod can also be screwed on to be used on the box mod, and the same kick module with a screen and buttons can be used in both.

I think, at some point, TC will be a given. It would be nice to have tech that would do TC with any ole type of wire, but people will always want the variety and flexibility of wanting to pick their own topper - so I really can't see 510 going anywhere, even if it means being limited to nickel, titanium or stainless.

What I also think is that higher power units will become smaller and smaller, just like computers and cell phones did. So I think whoever comes up with the smallest, most power-efficient, and SAFEST battery tech would be the big winner in innovation. A teeny tiny battery with huge capacity that doesn't blow up! :thumb:

If I were to buy a mod right now (which I'm not  ), it would have to be one of the minis that has TC.

I would think like three types of kit.

Beginner
a passthrough device that maxes at 15 to 20 watts
a tank with 5 spare coils
charging cord
link to a beginners vaping video on the forum or the innokin web page

Intermediate
A device like the VTR, 134 or SVD
Battery charger
2 batteries
a choice of tanks standard or subohm
5 spare coils
Link to instructional videos on the forum or the innokin web page

Advanced
a coice of devices like the Coolfire 4 or disruptor
Battery or space cell for diruptor.
Charger or charge cord
Sub ohm tank
Standard tank
5 spare coils for each
Link to instructional videos on the forum or the innokin web page

They actually have made a mech tube mod already:

Yeah......and it's sad.
( they have a dripper too.. But it's really bad too).

I meant one without the spider-man/underage thing going on.

Just a simple stainless steel mechanical mod. With less flash and more thought toward a simplistic, durable, industrial design.

Innokin has a thing with the industrial look, and it works.
It oozes quality.
They should run with it, stop holding back and make a nice mech mod.

ooo0000ooo yeaahhhhhh, a passthrough cable thingy that fits in a tube mod in place of an 18650 battery like the provape passthrough.
That would be an essential accessory; and if it has a 30 amp cdr limit at 4.2 volts it would be better than most batteries.

their svd2 looked real real interesting.

from the pics I wonder if it has adjustable center pin.

I loved the removeable/replaceable topcap;
but it's vw only; and won't take a 7 volt input (as in stacked batts)

It's nice but its not a mechanical.

Was about to say that that's another thing: you should be able to take out the piece with the screen/electronics and use the other pieces as a mech.
That svd2 looks like it could *almost* do that; needs a tube with a switch to replace the tube with the screen...... or it might just need the right threaded bottom switch.
