Smaller coil doesn't take up as much room in the barrel and over the airflow as a larger coil would so more air can pass. A similar effect can occur in a dripper if you make a large coil and place it very close to the airflow holes, did that in my infinite clt to see if I could increase flavor.

I think that the moist feeling is less on the 2mm than the 2.5mm I had in there before. I actually like a moist vape, I love my mutation x v4 because of it even if my poor habits make it a leaky SOB.

On the subject of airflow again, my next build is going to be vertical coil. I saw this done on a goblin and they said it increased both airflow and flavor. Only reason I haven't done it is because the build in there right now has been working so well I haven't wanted to mess with it.

If you do get a Good Vertical Build going, Please Post some Pictures of it.

I have Tried a Few Times. I didn't have much Luck.

Ill give it a go tomorrow. I am not spectacular at building, but I am persistent and usually can figure things out like the dual coil in a lemo drop that worked well.

So I made a single vertical coil that looks really bad... But it's unique!
The coil is oval shape and spaced. It reads .98 ohms and was done with 26 gauge and Im pretty sure its 7 wraps, had to take a wrap out to get it through the post and not touch. It's wicking and so far not leaking. I went spaced because I messed up in the first 2 wraps and didn't go back because I knew there would be no way to adjust a contact coil.
Picture quality is poor as it was done on a iphone and wouldn't focus right, even though i know it can do better as I take pictures of micro coils with it.
Anyway to wic I put a piece of cotton on both sides and ran them into the channel a bit. there was no room to put any around the front or back.
The limit seems to be 27 watts, got a good dry hit at 30. I have been able to chain vape it ok.
Overall I think I will go back to my dual coil setup after I finish this tank as I like it better because it is more open and less of a pain is the ... to build.

No leaking as of last night. This morning I put it on a dry piece of paper and left it at home while I went to work. Ill see if the paper is still dry when I get home. I might actually dry a dual coil version of it done on slightly smaller bits, currently i used 2 5/64 drill bits. I will also try and get a decent picture of the setup and wic in all its janky glory if my cousin or grandma will let me use their expensive cameras.

I've been an avid Lemo vaper ever since the original came out. The Lemo 2 has been my every day vape ever since it hit the market.

I have one of these on order. Looking forward to trying some dual coils out, for a change of pace if nothing else. I haven't built anything other than 24 ga 2.5mm spaced nichrome in a long time.

How does this tank stand up compared to the Lemo 2? Bottom fill isn't a problem for me, I can manage it - more interested in flavor / vapor production and airflow. It seems this one may have the Lemo 2 beat on all three.

Airflow on the Goblin minis is definitely better than the Lemo II, although with these small chambers if you use a large diameter coil and have a lot of wick in there you can potentially loose some airflow. Compared to the Lemo II the Goblin mini is a much more full and saturated vape as well, I probably put 20 builds in my Lemo II trying to get that full dense vape but I think that larger diameter chimney kills it. The goblin has a smaller diameter chimney but still flows more air which I think is responsible for the better flavor and vapor density compared to the Lemo II.

Compared to the Lemo II the Goblin mini is more of a hassle to build, but that's mainly because the Lemo II is so nice to build on not because there is anything especially tedious about the goblin mini, it's a standard build for a dual coil RTA.

Also, even with the huge size difference the Goblin mini holds about the same amount of juice as the Lemo II..... every time I look at the two next to each other that's the first thing that comes to mind ;)

I don't want to sound like I'm being too hard on the Lemo II, I still like it and it gives a good vape, but the goblin is just a better match for my vaping style.

That's what's drawn me to the Goblin Mini, the economy of space. I've been using the Lemo 2 on an IPV4, and it is not pocket friendly. I've switched back to the Lemo 2 on the IPV Mini just to save some pocket space (IPV D2 is on pre-order) - I have to to carry an extra 18650 or two, but I always do that anyway.

Another thing that drew me is dual coils. What kind of build has been working for you? I'm aiming towards a dual 26ga 2.5mm nichrome build around 0.4 ohms.

I'm using a .05 ohm 28G nickle build in one for TC, and a .4 ohm 26g kanthal build in the other and both are working great, your build idea sounds like it should work well too! I'd take some pics of the kanthal build but I've ran about 45mls of Looper through it without a re-wick and it's embarrassingly gunky so here's a Goblin family group shot instead ;)

Actually i enjoy flavour on this build. 0.38ohm dual coil with 26 gauge kanthal. Just a tad of cotton, pancake wick, and awesome flavour!

ooh ooh ooh!!

Pancake wicking?!

Now your speakin my language... I will surely try that build.

How many wraps, what dia. do you wrap around, macro/mini or spaced, and what vg/pg are you usin for that one (just so I can adjust my wicking if needed)?

Thanks for the reply mate :D

Vaping it now. Beautiful.

I am at about 75-25 vg pg
7 wraps no spaces between wraps, dual coil.

It is still leaking after 4-5 hours no use, but something minor, just if i unscrew the cap and doesnt worryme much on a tube mod.

Btw i kept it vertical in the backpack all time i cannot vouch if you will let it lay down on the side :)

I got mine last week and I really enjoy this rta. No gurgling, no leaking and no dry hits at all. I tried a few builds untill i found one that works really great for me:

Coil wrapping | Steam Engine | free vaping calculators

And tbh this one is a beauty!

For those of you having leaking issues... try this wicking method
