Cleaned the shower and all the glass.... I would love an open shower concept. I hate cleaning shower glass :grr: Our shower is tile and a 3/4 wall then glass about 2 1/2 - 3 feet up.

I know rain x or wax or something to shed the water...but that requires maintenance LOL

I hate cleaning shower glass...

Robin I hate doing the shower also, but for me it's easier to do it faithfully every week. I squeegee the door after I use it, but others here never do..:glare:

I used to use a squeegee but got lazy. I use that shower spray. Seems to work pretty good.

Hi health nuts ! I started the gym about 2 and a half years ago in the ladies room with machines until I found all the classes I enjoy (zumba , body pump , kick and core class) and quit going in the ladies room . I could not find a dreadmill last night to get on and was with a girl that frequents the gym like I do and we decided to go in the ladies room . It was just what I needed for a temporary change up ! I love the machines in there it seems they are built just for us ladies ! I am going to zumba tonight , but tomorrow I will be in the ladies room for another round with those machines and a 2 mile jog/run ! :p

shower curtains dont need squeegeein'... :)

True! BUT we are in a rental and it is not my house to renovate. If it were, I would take out the bathtub that no one uses and make the shower (which is already good sized) bigger. I like the idea of an open shower concept .

2 miles done with resistance and speed. Oh Yeah!
Did you know that the elliptical will work going backwards? Mine will anyway. Tried that for a tenth of a mile for 57 seconds. O M G the front of my thighs were burning! Might try doing that every so often. It's kinda cool in a bizarre kind of way ;)

Robin I do half of my elliptical workout in reverse! It takes some getting used to, but works different muscles so definitely try to work it in (up!).

GP- that sounds like a very nice gym to have a ladies only area; I'd definitely take advantage of it!

hmmm I wonder how often one will run/do stairs/etc backwards for that distance in real life applications? ;)

Its always good to change up the workout, otherwise you get too used to it all.

Have been doing really good with food, not much exercise other than normal daily activities. Even scraping 2" of ice off the back porch last night didn't count much, still holding the exact same weight. Sigh....

Answer: Never

Using the elliptical because I will Never do that in real life. Hard to find stairs in a Florida home. I do miss them though. If we ever get around to building a house, it will be a two story.

.2 lbs to go to goal.
We had pizza again last night but I limited myself. I really think drinking water does help. I should have listened more to RJ ;)

Too much though and then I have water weight gain. But I am being very careful about salt intake.
Water intake yesterday was 37.8 oz. Which is two bottled waters. For me...that's a lot. LOL

I can't wait to see what this program does for maintaining.

Drinking enough water is so important! I try for a gallon a day. I've already had five 16.9 oz bottles of water today. I start early as I think the early morning pee-fest cleans out bad stuff and I feel helps in my weight loss. I've read that most people walk around dehydrated but they think they are hungry instead so they eat when they should really just drink water. If your body gets enough water, it won't retain it. Water is crucial!
