Did no real "exercise" today. Walked up and down the steps about 60 times toting laundry baskets, does that count? Still tired and sore lol

That absolutely counts. :)

According to my Exercise program:

Stair climbing, carrying 1-15 pound load for 20 minutes burns 80 calories
Stair climbing, carrying 16-24 pound load for 20 min burns 100 calories
Stair climbing, carrying 25-49 lb load for 20 min burns 140 calories

:D

Walked for two hours at the mall while Hubby and MIL saw a movie. Didn't buy a thing. Didn't see anything I really wanted either. I hate shopping.

I did see a dress that would work for the rehearsal dinner. So I came home and ordered it online...how stupid is that? LOLOLOL I wanted to get Rick's input on the dress and by the time they were out, I only had enough energy to show him. I had thought it would work for the wedding itself, but MIL said it would be perfect for the rehearsal dinner. She sat on a bench while I dragged him to the store I saw it in. He showed her a picture that he took while I went and brought the car around for her.

So anyway, I got my walking in. Legs feel it more than when I use the elliptical  I didn't sit down till I got to the spot to wait for them to come out.

How women can concern themselves with a dress a half year out is beyond my comprehension. :)

I did not exercise all weekend. But I cleaned my closet over the two days. I didn't finish it until 8 pm last night. All the fat clothes are GONE! Tons of freaking clothes. I'm donating 10 black garbage bags with a fair market value of over $1,300 (I keep up with it for tax purposes), and I threw away 5 black garbage bags of crap out of the closet. It was a disaster. Now it's all nice and clean and I found some clothes that actually fit me! Treadmill will see me tonight though.

Because the pictures will be capturing those moments for eternity. It needs to be flattering yet tasteful. It takes time to find the right dress especially with the styles they have these days. I like a classic look that can be worn for years.

I'm contemplating having one made.

I bet that felt FANTASTIC!!

I had to do the opposite. Clean out all the REALLY skinny clothes. I know I could never get back down to that size and be healthy. That was a slight bummer.

Guys just don't get it Robin. I understand completely! Way to go on the clothes purging. You too RJ. I've done both.. got rid of the big stuff a long time ago, and the 'way too thin' stuff last summer. :)

Got a friend (wife of my BFF) who writes me and goes on and on about what dress she is going to wear at some function that is a year away. I don't have the heart to tell her I don't give a :censored:!!!

Women dress for other women. :)

To an extent we do. We also like to have attention from the male species. Even though we are married, it is still flattering to have a few heads turn. Also, we get our confidence from knowing that we look well put together.

I know it seems like I am a bit too concerned with this event. All Rick's ex-in-laws and his ex will be there. I desire to have my best foot forward.

Ms. Robin, you would be attractive whether you spent six months or one day looking for a dress. Don't sweat it. :)
