Ankle still being wonky. Going to just have to modify the routine so I can at least do something. Did end up doing 25 squats last night. Goal for today is 50, I usually split them up throughout the day.

Still not weighing, but I woke up feeling a bit lighter if that makes any sense.

That makes total sense. I know exactly what you mean. :D
Yay you!

Weight dropped over a 1 lb since yesterday.. Amazing what a little self control can do. Run/walk on the treadmill this morning as soon as my breakfast burrito settles. I've already had almost 500 calories this morning (I was hungry!) but the run will knock that back to 100ish.

You're getting close Robin, WTG!

Always, hang in there, just do what you can.

Hello again. Company Health Fair (ie. the Insurance Inquisition) was yesterday. 191 lbs. That nine pounds in eight days, but it's the first eight days so not worried.
My arthritis is limiting me somewhat during these sub- freezing days. Still watching what I eat, but haven't done any stretching or excersize for three days. Maybe this weekend ......
By the way - peanut butter on toast (2) seems to be my breakfast of choice the last couple of days. Might not be 'Chef's Cuisine' but it gives me energy in the morning and keeps the Hungries away for six to eight hours.

Way to work Papaw and Always :toast: . Good news for me, im down 3.6 lbs ! goal for the month is 10lbs, im so excited but a lil nervous as well . Yesterday I did 1.50 miles jog and run , 3 sets of 20 reps on 2 leg machines and them same on triceps . A bottle of water with lemon first thing in the am seems to be helping with my appetite and the way I feel :) Still nourishing my body the same .

Everybody is doing great it seems! :) I'm snacking too much, but at least I'm choosing healthy options. And I am a grazer. I feel like I have really gained some muscle and I think I needed it. But my jeans felt tight although my weight is steady. I need to get down there tonight on the treadmill but I'm thinking Friday nights are a good off night for me. I'm always shot by Friday night. And I'm on my third beer...............

That does seem fast Brett. I had to go look back to see what it was the other day. You had dropped 9 in eight days and then this, another 5 or so in just a couple. (I'm not a math person and I just got my first sip of coffee, if I'm wrong in my calculations...bite me ;))

I know guys lose faster and easier because they have more muscle. Rick can drop a pound a day, easy, if not more.

Goal: 3 miles
Clean house for company this afternoon.
Weight: 134.4 (guess I wasn't quite as good as I thought last night LOL)

Just an update.. since I'm not a full time member of this thread. :)

17.5lbs down when I went to see my Doctor about my cold, compared to when I saw him last in October.

Small lifestyle changes, and the weight is slowly but surely coming off.

Next investment, a digital scale for home. I've got a 20yr old analog one that I think just guesses weights when somebody want to check something. :D

Carry on folks! ;)

I agree, it is fast Brett. But men lose so much quicker and you are dieting pretty hard. It's those last 10 that get hard.

I lost another .7, encourages me to keep at it. :) I am uber thrilled with the barcode thing on my fitness pal. When I made dinner last night I just scanned everything that went into the recipe, then adjusted amounts.

I maintained so no loss or gain. And I was bad last night...I ate three squares of my son's Ghirardelli Dark & Sea Salt Caramel. I ate one and went back again and then once more. But oh well. So today I'm doing another 5K on the treadmill. Been reading a lot about interval training which is what I've been doing kind of for months now. I'll be sprinting some on an incline to maximize calorie burn. I think I'm ready to lose another 10 pounds now. I gotta get this fat off!

Tell me about it  That's what I have been working so hard to get rid off. 10 lousy stinkin' stubborn obnoxious pounds!
