Does working in the garden count for anything? Trimming trees, ranking up trimmings and hauling them out to the dumpster. Moving potted plants (& these are some big pots!) from one end to the other and back again. An all day affair. Thank God it wasn't hot & humid out - mid to upper 70's & 49% humidity.

Love this weather! Sunny and warm during the day then cool in the evening. The last couple of nights it's dropped to the mid 60's.

For lunch, fresh spring rolls, meaning not fried, in a bed of lettuce. I'm now enjoying dinner - the last of the chicken soup and a cold beer. :toast:

Chak I think gardening definitely counts!

I'm back up 1.5 lbs today. Didn't do bad eating yesterday and got my exercise in.. Must be lack of sleep.

I agree, gardening/landscaping work is a hell of a workout! That's actually the last time I got really skinny, when I first started gardening about 15 yrs ago; we lived in an apartment, but the front "yard" (it was the townhouse type apartment) had so much erosion, the crepe myrtle tree was about to fall over, and I was pretty sick of "rental property landscaping" -- the barren look, you know. So I basically re-graded that tiny yard with probably 100 bags of topsoil and some well-placed stone borders to direct the water along the sidewalk instead of down thru the yard... it was a massive improvement, and also took about 15 lbs off me (and gave me some serious muscles, toting those 40 lb sacks of dirt!); it was one of those El Nino summers where you could fry eggs on the pavement and cook biscuits in the mailbox!

I'll be going out and tidying up my front border in a couple weeks, and probably prune my roses around Valentines Day. I did nothing to them last year, and they've grown tall and spindly, so it's time for a drastic cutting! Then I have to finish the stone border, so that should help me take 5 lbs off pretty easily.

I did terrible yesterday. Only walked around for a while with the kids at the aquarium, and ate terrible for me food at the restaurant. And every bite was so good I can't regret it.

Before we left I had an egg with veggies and a slice of bacon. Then we had tgi fridays, I had half a burger, half my fries, and we split a dessert (it was so worth it)

Then last night finished my burger because I was tired and lazy

Oh well today is a new day again. Don't know about exercise today, will be gone most of the day. But will definitely do better with the food

I'm up a little today. Been thinking. I believe I'm ready to start my second weight loss goal. I met my first goal (66 lbs lost) and have been hanging out here for almost three months now. Maintaining within five pounds. But I want to get to my ideal weight. If I manage to get to my ideal weight my total weight loss will be.....73 freaking pounds! Geez Louise why did I get so FAT! It's not a goal until you write it down. So consider it written. I started this journey March 16 last year...I'd like to be at my final goal weight by March 16 this year. I'll consider my NOLA trip on March 20th to meet April, retic, and BK my celebratory trip. Git 'r dun!

did you eat half of each fry, or half of the portion and left whole fries?
