So after spending so much time constructing and using this unit. I came to the conclusion that it needs a better name. Gecko just doesn't justify how this little and not so little indestructible powerhouse preforms. We are reaching so many advances working merely non stop with this unit and are still coming up with Great idea's. We are aiming for durability, safety, simplicity and just works every time without fail. What do you (Anyone) think of Peranial? as in perennial:

Main Entry: Perennial
Part of Speech: adjective
Definition: enduring, perpetual
Synonyms: abiding, annual, ceaseless, chronic, constant, continual, continuing, deathless, durable, eternal, everlasting, immortal, imperishable, incessant, inveterate, lasting, lifelong, long-lasting, long-lived, longstanding, never-ending, old, perdurable, permanent, persistent, recurrent, seasonal, sustained, unceasing, unchanging, undying, unfailing, uninterrupted, yearlong, yearly

Comes in at a very nice weight! There's definitely room in my top pocket for such a creature... or is it a plant now

So you're riffing on the infinity theme... ok... i can roll with that. Maybe your trying to make up a word for trademark purposes, ala levitra. Can I play with real words :)

Little Infinity (cute w/o being green and creaturely?)
Vast (it starts with a V!)
Light Year, Parsec
Unbound, Unlimited

Surd (um... what an odd word, its in my synonym list)
Constancy (hmmm... not to be confused with incontinence... maybe not)
Asymptote (... what? maybe not)

Oh... and i almost forgot... the safest, simplest, and most dependably enduring of all lizards... the Gila Monster ;)

I, for some incredibly odd reason, like the name skink. It's sleek and lizardy! Maybe too close too skunk, though.
Too expand on the cosmic names above in VaporMadness' post, you could go with quantum physics like: Quantum, Photon, Quark, The Tachyon Pulse.
I like asymptote, but it sounds weird. How about the Tangent?

Love the way it's turning out!!! The name? I don't know. I like what it represents but I don't want to have to think about not watering it :)

LOL It's pretty asinine for you to mention asymptote. :) Oh no no good sir, this is Not Infinity. Believe me, Infinity will live up to it's name in a different sense. Infinity, as in an infinite of possibilities. That particular unit will not be cylindrical my good man.
As for the name, I was thinking something made-up for a trademark much like other companies outside of our genre like Nintendo Wii, Snickers candy bar,Pepsi. My inner punk is screaming SELL-OUT! lol Real words will work just nicely though  Hmmm IkenVast eh?,,IV as in a support of life

I like your track Cappa! I think we would definitely need to add sound effects though! Na just kidding. Although some classy prosthetics like a light saber would be pretty cool and justify a technological name.

The Abyss... infinite possibilities. To go where no man has gone before...
Ooh the Abyss, now that just sounds cool. I feel the unit should be the color black to match. The Machinists image was to anodize them in black, but I'm thinking optional is the way to go. We may start out with a smooth and naked metal, black and a Collector's edition. We have met with a powder coating company and were talking about giving customer's the option of their desired color and finishes.

Ooooo... the world of quantum physics offers lots of possibilities!

Proton, Electron, Neutron
Neutrino, Meson, Lepton, Boson
Graviton (has some gravitas), Fermion
Dark Matter (a little sinister perhaps)
Charm (has a cute factor)
Hadron, Muon, Parton, Tevatron, Tau

Lot's of neat possibilities in mathematical terms too (which could resonate with Infinity).

Fun stuff!

Ok dont shoot me ... but I want a pink one with roses on it LOLOL
Oh boy I am in so much trouble here !!

The Abyss - in powdercoat pink with roses :)

I bet it would look great! Not for me exactly, but great all the same. Light metallic'i green for me maybe, idk, i'd have to see it in some colors.

It's a shame that a reputable, well known, recognizable name like a Chameleon which doesn't need any introduction or marketing will have to die with the birth of its successor.
Exactly Vman, I'm reverting back to just naming the Lizard.

chic chic BOOM! Pink, we can probably do, but adding effects like Roses might be a little too difficult as in anodizing then applying the sticker art, then anodizing again. I'll ask though!

Now we're almost on the same page again! I was thinking for the Collector's edition of the Lizard a darkish green with finish like this:

It's hard to be able to tell what it feels like, but it's more like a bumpy smooth.

Another finish I was eying up was very smooth but yet very light in the bumpy department was something like this:

It felt very comfortable in the hand and could be very appealing to the eye, but I'm just not sure.

"The Lizard"... glad to hear that's back on the table... IkenVape, home of Lazers and Lizards :) Whatever you decide to call it, looks like it'll be a nice package.

Is there such a thing as a clear powdercoat... just a protective finish over naked metal... that might be a nice option for the minimalists out there?
Most certainly, The original Chameleon was made with Clear anodizing. I love anodizing because it makes the unit completely scratch proof. Regardless of choices and options Clear would ultimately be a standard.
Lizard is good , for guys. Girls not so much LOL> Little old lady showing off her new mod, "what is it" oh its my lizard:blink: LOLOL!!
LOL Well you know, We are focusing on either 14500 (AA size) and/or 10440 (AAA size) I'm sure we can affix a special name for it ;)
but seriously when you say it like that, it does make me want to consider the naming scheme. Now I'm facepalming!

I'd rather hear an old lady say it than a guy saying: "Hey, wanna check out my lizard?" :)

LOL!

Isaac, I really like the lizardy, scaley, green finish. Although my favorite color has always been a dark green and I'm partial to frogs, close to lizards except not (different class).
