I've been waiting since January, I believe, for Iken to finally come out with his mod.... I'm still in shock with how it looks and functions...
Is there anyway you can do the same thing with the center post of the adapters as the switch center post. One of things I find most annoying on all the mods I have had is the center post for the adapters where the attie goes. It can be a pain to clean. If you could make it to where we can just simply unscrew the center post and then just clean it... wow no more headaches.
We been thinking about it, but to make the adapter actually screw would mean we would have to thread the nylon insert, which could most likely not work because of the .5mm thickness.
With the current Chameleon, the center post of the adapters can be easily removed for cleaning, the center post slides out of the nylon sleeve if you press firmly enough on it. In the vid, the new adapters look very similar. Isaac did mention they're considering integrating the adapter into the top cap (so i guess there'd be an option to get different top caps instead of a set of adapters).
I like how it's shaping up too! Retaining all of the good characteristics of the current Chameleon and replacing its Achilles heel.

Yeah, we're going to affix them because unlike the original that had the button sector to secure the adapter, we don't have that anymore, now if we were to keep the same characteristics, the adapter would be loose and free spinning, also it has a chance of leaking into the battery compartment
Hmmm...as to names...."The Anole" is another type of lizard, and is "ours" here in the States.....still thinking along the chameleon line...tee-hee !

When the button is pushed it looks like a bullet. It's not a lizard names but you could could call it the scorpion. If you want to keep it in the lizard names you could call it the gila monster or the Iguana.
Let's put it this way, if the name Silver bullet wasn't taken, it would've been it hands down. Scorpion would be great! I am a Scorpio afterall
My old man mentioned iguana when i presented the lizard family. Your like 10th person that said Gila Monster!
If you want a name that will stand out, the name that will be remembered, and the name which will surely get your attention, just call it "The Boner". It's not in a lizard family but I believe it a part of the snake species.
I don't know who would be standing at the most attention the user or the mod!
