I think those who are seriously bothered by waiting probably ought to just ask for a refund. It'll make things move along that much faster for those of us who are more patient. :p

Yes, I'm excited about my juice Boxes, and, yes, I'd prefer to have had them yesterday. ;) However, this isn't life and death stuff here. Personally, I'd prefer for Carlos to enjoy a few margaritas while he's waiting for the suppliers to come through instead of stressing out over orders that are backlogged.

Life is too short.

The assembly time is minimal about three hours, now that I've done so many, it's just the painting and clear coating. but if the weather is good, no humidity, the painting only takes a day.

My next one can be Naked...i dont care ....don't paint it carlos....i could care less about flippin paint....

Hey Carlos...have the ppl that are waiting go to their local Radio Shack, buy all the boxes they have and send them to you...then discount it from their order. I saw 5 when I was there a few days ago...minus the one I got.

Just a thought....
Great minds think alike, That's just what I did ;) but got all 5 Boxes and sent them off to Carlos.

Thanks for all the hard work Carlos, I think its pretty awesome you made your mod available to us. It sound like a stressful job with the supplier issues. Hope it gets sorted out soon.

P.S. Margaritas sound tasty but I like baileys on the rocks for pool lounging.

Baileys in the cooler months is good. Not so gooood in the warmer climate. Kinda makes you turn colors if'n it's a little warm outside.

Ok so I have to ask - what IS a Juice box exactly? What does it look like? what does it DO? There are so many kinds of PV and PV mod that I'm confused and the search just brings me back to this thread

Edit: Ok I just found Porphy's v- review over on vapers forum and wow - gotta say wow what an awesome thing you made Carlos! I'm gonna hold my enthusiasm until things calm down for you - as its obvious right now that you're run off your feet with orders, but I'm definetly looking at getting one of these babies when you are more able to deal with your backlog. Please DO keep us informed (which sounds like I;m about to addd 'so we can flood you again..' lol) and I hope your suppliers stop dragging their feet soon

So did we start vaping to do our bodies some good or to drive our BP through the roof waiting on the next great device to come in the mail? As new as I am to vaping I guess its easy for me to still be very happy with the fact that I'm now smoke free since Nov 25th! I am eagerly awaiting a JB like the rest of you (ordered 12/30) but it's not hard to see that Carlos is doing everything that the man can to fill the huge influx of orders that he has received also considering his current supplier probs. His recent posts here give the impression of a person under alot of stress. Sit back, fill up on your favorite flavor, enjoy a vape... the world will keep turning and your JB will come... be happy that your not smoking an analog.... Just a newbs perspective...

I finally received my juice box and have to say it was worth the wait. Ordered Nov 5th received about a week or so ago. This one has a little bit of a learning curve. When I first got the box I thought I waited for this, no way, But after fiddling with it for a week or so I have to finally say it is worth the wait.
This is a very unique PV. I have had good smooth cool vapes and warm to hot vapes. I have had very pronounce flavor and some so hot that there was no flavor at all. This really takes time to get used to.
Let me take you through a cycle of vaping between bottle pumps. First off it takes time to get the right feel for how much to pump the bottle, too much and the addy floods, not enough and you get very hot no flavor vapes. There is a fine line to mastering the pump pressure. However once mastered this thing vapes massively. So when you get the pumping mastered you can stay at a very soft flavorful vape by timing your pumps. If you want a little warmer and a little less flavor you pump less between cycles. Once you get the pumping action figured out you can make this thing vape at just about what ever level of vape you want. Cool full of flavor, mild warmth with a little lose a vapor and flavor, down to low vape, low flavor and hot throat hit.

All in all good job Carlos. Now that I have the pumping mastered I can finally enjoy not fiddling with drip, drop, top off carts, cart cleaning, fluval and all the other stuff that goes along with PV that don't have a self filling reservoir of liquid.

Mick, nice to see you finally got it. What type of juice do you vape, PG or VG?

Mick (and anyone else that has a JB already<especially Carlos>)... I have a couple questions.

You say it's easy to flood the atty. I was thinking that the the squeeze action of the bottle pushed juice up into the atty then (on the squeeze release) sucked the excess out. Is this not the case?

If the atty does get flooded, what's the remedy? With a normal atty, I would take it off and blow it out. Don't think that can be done with the JB atty. So do you just wait for the excess to run back into the bottle? Can you blow into it slightly to push the juice down?

In one of the video reviews I watched (the one with the 'kid' that had the Danger label on his), he was getting kinda lame clouds out of it, then the vid cut, and when he came back he said that he had talked to carlos and got some tips, then he was blowing clouds. What I would really like to know...what tips did he get that changed the performance that much???

Thanks

When you offer a product for the first time, you have no clue if the public will like it or hate it. You are unsure of the price point at which they would be willing to pay.
Carlos obviously got hammered with orders and we knew it would be a wait for our orders. If you do not want to wait then you really should not place your order until the facination has died down a little.
Some have no problem with waiting, others are not very good at the waiting game. I understand the apprehension, though.

One good thing is I still have time to decide were to buy my batt's from http://www.sweetim.com/s.asp?im=gen&lpver=3&ref=10

I dont think flooding the atty is a big thing...it takes just a little bit getting used to how this thing operates. It's a bit hard to explain but I will try. You can certainly take off the mouth piece and blow into the atty...but really you only have to wait a second and the extra juice has gone back into the bottle. The hardest thing for me to get used to was how often to give the bottle a little push to put the juice into the atty...And i sorta figured out a rhythm to it. Every 3 vapes , i push that bottle once...and i was good to go.

The vape...it is a little inconsistant...but personally i think its the juice that i was using...I use a little more vg so i get more vape out of the atty...and i think its best to add vg to the juice you are using..this juice box likes a little vg..it seems to vape alot better with it...in my opinion.

When you don't have enough juice pushed into the atty, you will get that burnt taste....you will definately know when that occurs...

So..its best just to get your own system going with it...and when you do...there's nothing else like it.

I personally love this thing...i want another one....hell, id like to have a backup to my backup to my backup...LOL.

HOpe this helped a little bit, Ping. Yanno, im not too mechanically inclined..and i just try to explain this stuff to the best this clumsy brain will let me.

Sorry to double post..but i have a bit of news i forgot to mention before.

I spoke with Carlos this morning and he told me he now had someone helping him make the Juice Boxes.

So..that means...they will be made sooner, shipped sooner and it should cut the waiting time dramatically.

SO..This is great news.
