I've had the best luck getting hold of Carlos by PM'ing him here on the forums. Link:

And to answer your question, MHR, I've only managed HV vaping at 6 volts with an 801 and a cartomizer (the two 510's I tried popped immediately) using my GGT. A few weeks later, I finally got an adapter and a couple of HV attys and did 6 volts with my GGT for a few days (awesome!) but then the charger broke! I would have ordered another, but I knew my JB was on the way, so...

Considering Carlos' turn-around time, I totally agree with not using HV with the JBox, unless you have the ability to repair it yourself. (do I hear crickets chirping?) I don't either, so I'll be sticking with 3.7 volts. I'm not sure if I want to hit that beast at 6 volts, anyway! (OK, yeah, I do want to try it, but not at the risk of losing my JB for a couple of months).

I'm about half-way through the bottle of 36 mg. DK-TAB from MFS that I screwed onto my JuiceBox when it arrived, and I haven't been happier since I started vaping.

Some things I've noticed:

1) This thing doesn't put out a lot of vapor unless it's almost dry.

2) The draw is so easy, it almost feels silly to do anything other than a direct inhale.

3) The flavor of the juice is completely different than it is with other attys. Cool vapor, tons of "wet-tasting" flavor (especially on the back of the tongue), but a completely different flavor from the same juice on a 510, 801, or in a cartomizer.

4) Half-way through the bottle, I notice the juice in the bottle is getting darker. I assume it's from carbon washed out of the atty when the juice drains back into the bottle. No change in flavor or hit so far, though... If this bothers you, I imagine it could be kept to a minimum by not filling the bottle all the way, and not constantly flooding the atty like I've been doing (but DAYUM it's good! I've been pressing on that bottle like a crack-head lab-monkey!)

I'm going to have to get another one, so I'll have a back-up in case this one needs to be sent in for repairs.

Thanks quasimod. That's not the most reassuring assessment for me, as I was hoping it performed the exact opposite - hot, massive vapor at the expense of flavor if need be, with a pretty hard draw - basically a 6v 510 with a juice bottle rigged up.

Ah well. If it does end up performing the way you describe, I'll basically have waited a month and a half for a paperweight :p

If you're interested in selling it, it won't take long. I recommend working with it a bit, because it's so different. You might be able to get it to perform differently than I can. I had hoped for something warmer with tons of vapor, as well, but it didn't take me long to appreciate it for what it is.

I call "dibs" if you're selling it, though! :D

With all due respect to Carlos I would highly suggest someone share pictures of their JB atomizer and juicing set up. That way those who don't want to wait can build their own.

Every other product has had pics posted, broken apart, analyzed and picked apart or just outright shared for the benefit of the community.

While a judge ruled today that the FDA cannot ban imports temporarily it is just that temporary.

Carlos has a good head start on anyone else who might copy and sell JBs and I would suggest anyone order from him in the case that someone does but it is time to share this one.

Even if the pics are PMed among modders so it isn't so public. Pm me if you have details.

Ok just a heads up to all waiting (my self included) members.
Carlos is having a hard time with getting all his supplies shipped right & on time to him so hang in there.
Many people are helping him get everything he needs to catch up ASAP.
I have sent him a wireless headset so he can work and not waste time on hold trying to fix other peoples mistakes.
With any luck, all will get the box sooner then later.

Do you know if he's shipped out anything recently?

<<<Edited out the attack of the smilies.>>:p

I know that they just buy them from china and then resell them for more, but then you get to contribute a couple bucks to joe america; and they, in turn, stand at the dock waiting on the slow boat so you don't have to.
And you get your batts in three days instead of 6-8 weeks ;).
I've got 4 shipments from DX ,none have taken over 14 days.Three shipments took 11 days. It pays to plan a little ahead.:)

In the land of no hills and red dirt
I've got a couple of quick questions if someone could please help me out.

I just received a bunch of PG juice in my favorite flavor. I understand it will work in the JB2, bu VG is recommended. Would it be possible to add some VG to my PG, or would that run a risk of frakking up the rig or being a PITA to get the consistency right?

Also, there is a place for a discount code in the checkout. Is one available to us?

This setup looks pretty good. Thanks in advance for your help and advice.

When you offer a product for the first time, you have no clue if the public will like it or hate it. You are unsure of the price point at which they would be willing to pay.
Carlos obviously got hammered with orders and we knew it would be a wait for our orders. If you do not want to wait then you really should not place your order until the facination has died down a little.
Some have no problem with waiting, others are not very good at the waiting game. I understand the apprehension, though.
