Went to a B&M store (Empire Mods) today and noticed that they had the Lemo Drop on a display, it was the last one they had in stock. Bought it for $45, which I think is fairly priced for a B&M store. I then went home and primed the coil and wick that came with it with my favorite juice, filled it up to max, and BAM! Holy fraking ....! I haven't been light-headed like this for a long time... jesus.

Prior to this, I've been using a Protank 2 with a standard 30g 10-11 wrap microcoil for roughly 2 years. The Lemo Drop blows it out of the water in almost every department, flavor, throat & lung hit, etc. The only thing that bugs me is the airflow, it's a bit too much for me (have it closed all the way) as I prefer a tighter draw but I think I can get used to it.

As a long time vapor, the Lemo Drop gets a thumbs up from me. Can't wait to build my own coil on this beast.

Using the Lemo Drop on a GGTS Mechanical Mod.

Looks nice! I got the cloud chaser one from cherry vapes. It fits nicely on the lemo, but slightly too big for the holmes rda

Yeah it's the cloud chaser one too!

I do need to file off a bit of the bottom section. It's a tad too long to sit flush on my lemo

I just got a Lemo for Christmas. I was previously using PT2's too. It sure is a different experience. It was so much fun I just puffed away until I got the dizzies.

I put my favorite juice in it. The amount of flavor was a shock. However it tasted a lot different in the Lemo. I didn't like it as much as I did in the PT2. Maybe the Lemo brings out parts of the flavor that weren't being picked up in the PT. Is it normal for the flavor to change, rather than just becoming stronger?

Now I'm almost through the first tank, using the coil that came with it. It's started to gurgle a bit. And I have to do a couple of primer puffs before I take drag or I don't get much.

Guess it's another long learning process.

It could be the metal taste blending in with the juice. I can taste a little metal-oil in my juice and the juice flavor is a lot stronger too. I'm still a bit light-headed haha....

Anyone know how I can tighten up the airflow even more? I have the AFC closed all the way (towards the minus sign) and I still feel it has way too much air flow. Covering up two holes on the outside seems to be perfect, maybe I can just put two small pieces of scotch tape over the holes.. :p

Seriously??

I drilled my holes out and still not getting enough air. I'll have to take it apart tomorrow to see if there is blockage.

I just tested mine. I took the centerpin out and put the afc ring back on all the way open, then reinstalled the pin and closed down the AFC all the way til it would stop and tested, not a molecule of air to be had. Removed the center pin and the AFC was completely covering the air holes. I think something is stopping you from spinning the AFC ring properly.

Its not normal. I had to wash mine cause it smelled funny and vaping juice also tasted odd. After a hot bath with lots of soap and water, juice tastes like it should.

Wash your new tanks people before you juice them!

You may be right, I'll have a look at mine.

I took off the AFC centerpin and tried to tighten it down again but I get the feeling it's not going all the way down. Took it off once more and checked the threading in the base and noticed it's not aligned correctly. The threaded component inside the base seems to be springy and moving around (it's a piece underneath the coil. Did I get a dud piece? or is it just not tightened down? I can't really check since I have a full tank and don't have a syringe on hand to take the juice out.

My thought is that while you were adjusting the AFC you may have unintentionally unscrewed the center pin? That pin holds the positive portion of the deck in place. You definitely don't want that moving!! If it has been loosened I would bring the AFC ring to an open position and tighten the pin as much as possible. I did find that if I didn't tighten that pin all the way the AFC would actually go down far enough to reopen the air hole in the pin. It's possible that is what you are seeing...

Oh wow, the positive portion on the deck was popped off. I didn't know the center pin held it down like that. I'm actually surprised I was able to vape while it was off the hinge haha. Everything is in place now but I could still pull while the AFC ring is closed all the way, although the airflow is a little more constricted now. hmm

Edit : It seems I didn't have the ring all the way down this time, maybe it moved while I was tightening it to the 510 base. Now the airflow is perfect!
