I cannot get my coffee grinder apart! (manual)
It's stainless, smooth edge to smooth edge between the sections.
In the video, it comes apart as smooth as butter.
I have it in the freezer.

Not really. You can see that it's moved about three hairs width because the stainless is shinier.
I put it back in the freezer.
DH even tried, it's flipping stuck.
I'll see if leaving it in the freezer works.

Less than a minute in, you can see how it's supposed to come apart.

A machine had to have assembled this. Can't imagine anyone getting it put together that tight.

I used my jar opener like this one...
Kuhn Rikon Jar Opener
It has metal burrs that grab the object, so I used one of my rubber kitchen dishwashing gloves to protect the bottom part of the grinder.
It still marked it just a tiny bit, but nothing that's horrible.
Oh happy day...now if only my beans were here!

Oh, heck no. I'd have gotten DH's pipe cutting tool!!

DH's mom has one of them, and I asked for one for Christmas a couple years ago.
They could price that double what they do and it will would be worth it's weight in gold.
It's saved me many times when DH wasn't home.
It's never failed me yet.
You can have the most stubborn jar lid, and they're seriously no match for that thing. It's da bomb!!

If it's a jar I'm throwing away I just pop a hole in the lid with an old butcher knife,or if not throwing away you can put scotch tape over the hole
