Oh, btw ... your cabinets are really pretty :) Ours are all dinged up.... course yours are probably actually wood
They are real wood, the shelving has a slick finish, so I don't know what's underneat.
But they're not expensive cabinets, as far as cabinets go (they're all fairly expensive).
That's actually what they call "builder basics, or builder grade", that's not right, but something like that.

I like that blue 13.2 QT one,but 500.00 is a bit much
Yeah. That's not anything I would buy.
I won't knock their pricing though, it's extremely well made stuff, and I think they have decent lifetime warranties.
I think both of those two brands are manufactured in France. I believe they get decent wages, and I'm sure it's a lot for freight to get it here...it's just WAY out of my budget.
I checked them out at a kitchen store, not to buy, but out of sheer WONDERMENT of why they'e be soooooo expensive.

I'd love to replace ours but it's just not in the budget ;)

I'm sure those pots are meant to last a lifetime

...or a few lifetimes. That kind of stuff gets passed down for sure.

It was pretty good and I have enough leftover for supper tomorrow night :thumb:
    Fajitas

Okay, I should finish up here and go soak. :)

This is REALLY nice stuff too. Rena Ware. My mom had a nice set of it, and my SIL has a set.
Of my mom's set, I have some of the smaller pans, my sister has the bigger sizes, or I wouldn't have gotten that red pot.
I didn't think about it, or I could have gotten a big one on eBay.
...I just now thought of this.
I think it's still sold by sales reps like the Kirby vacuums.
My mom replaced her handles here and there, but that was because she washed stuff in the dishwasher.
    But, it's really nice cookware.
What's on eBay is going to be from estates I would imagine. I wouldn't be one bit afraid to get it on eBay either.
They honor the warranty no matter. :)

You need a meat trivet or small rack for inside so your meat doesn't sit in the grease when it's cooking :2c:

Yup I have my grandmothers and it's still getting used :D
I have a small round one, I'll have to see if it fits, next time I get the pot down.

Wow and for the low low price of just 450.00 bucks + SH
SH was free. Was prob most of what you would be paying for.

Kitchen done for the night, heading to soak. :)

Saw a nice looking 10 pc set for 117.00 that's less than 1/2 what mine cost
