Well, we use it for tostadas, quesadillas, BBQ chicken, salsa chicken, tacos. I put a bunch of breasts in the crock w unsalted broth and spices and then shred and freeze in freezer bags to use throughout the next couple of weeks. Saves time and they are healthier than a rotisserie.

I stopped buying pre made last Sept with the intention of making my own. And well, now I will be forced to make it. ;)
Yes, I knew you used it in lots of different ways :)

I've made the mistake of reclining on the sofa :unsure:...before dinner.
I am officially OUT OF MOMENTUM. :(

DH and I are going to split a steak, I'm making a side of broccoli, just waiting for him to come up from the cave.
We're having steak tonight too, with baked potatoes and asparagus...yum!

I was reading your posts and thinking gee whiz, that sounds a lot like me. Now, I KNOW we'd get along if we lived closer ;) Glad you are feeling better.
Thanks Sara...yeah, I imagine we'd be good friends...of course I think all of us on here would be a great bunch to get together...too bad we all live so far apart.

:) I do the same with a ground turkey/beef mixture. buy a couple of lbs and crumble it or buy a couple of lbs and make a bunch of meatballs with it.

I can't wait for fresh tomatoes. I want to make a bunch of sauce. We tried recently with tomatoes from the produce place but they weren't very good at all. Bitter and mealy.

Also would love to try my hand at canning. So we can have good sauce though out the winter. There is sooo much sodium in jarred sauce.

Some day when all of us are retired ;) we should plan a get together in the middle.

But ... but .... I'll be all old and crippled by then! :lol::lol:
No, no, no....we'll get together on my little private island...right after I win the lottery...just because I don't actually play shouldn't stop that dream though right?:p:lol:

And don't worry Dale, I'll have cool little motorized golf carts to get us around. ;)
