Dumped the gauge while I was out looking around wasn't as bad as I thought just 2.75" since last night,any place that can hold water in the yard is and I could hear the water running in the ditch out front so things are still draining

Heaven gained another angel this morning. My *aunt* who was like a mother to me passed away after suffering a major stroke on Easter. How can your heart be so heavy and broken at the same time? I went to see her last weekend and then again Friday night to say goodbye. 2017 can go fly a kite. I'm so ready for the year to be over. Sorry for the rambling.

When you're good, they call you CRACKERJACK!! DH just called me out to look in the pool. The frogs have been...gathering every night the last few nights...he was showing me the clusters of black frog eggs.
Thankfully, they won't mature since there are chemicals in the water....there are A BUNCH of them!!
I've also been seeing snails.
DH saw one on the front porch last night, and I saw about 6 in a small area of the yard.
It had been YEARS since I've seen a snail. Slugs...yes, but not snails.
I don't know that I've ever seen one at this house.
