Ugggg. I was hoping to sleep later, especially with it being dark and gloomy but alas here I am. Sports have been canceled since its been raining since Thursday and the fields are flooded.
We say our final goodbye to my *aunt* today and then I'm going to go shopping with my mom. I thought some mother daughter time might be good for the both of us. She was my mom's oldest and best friend, an aunt to my brother and I in every sense of the word except blood related. An extraordinary woman who was taken way too soon and she is being missed by many.

Oh, okay. Glad you got it fixed.It's a little plastic valve the put in the water tube between the tank and the water heating part that lets water into the heater but not back out,mine was installed a little crooked and bent some and wouldn't seal right

We had a a married couple that mowed/trimmed/sprayed the (short) driveways for weeds. It was REALLY nice.Lori what you need is a good yard boy or two their kind of like cabana boys except their less like a waiter and more like a farmer
They mowed at the larger place next door, and when they lost that job, they quit mowing down our road.
It's really not a lot to mow, the back is just kind of treacherous, because it's a steep hill. DH has always mowed that, we never wanted anyone getting hurt.
The first part of the season takes a little to whip it back in shape, but after it heats up, the grass barely grows at all. It's very shaded.
But yeah.
It was nice while it lasted. We just haven't looked around for someone new, they're out there, maybe DH will check around.It hardly takes even an hour to maintain once it's cleaned up.
Just a lot of trees, so there's leaves and sticks to deal with.
Going to be a big adjustment til you get your routine back in place, and DH can definitely help with some of it.Good morning Lori

Im ok right now the nerve blocker is starting to wear off so i will start feeling pain soon.
DH actually has the yard clean up down to where it doesn't take long.
He did a pretty good fall clean up, so it shouldn't be too bad.
He has a back pack blower, and a hand held, he's uses both simultaneously.
It goes pretty fast. He blows everything down to the edge of the lake and burns there.
Before Easter, every weekend was just sooooooo windy, it didn't make sense to even go, then...it's also just been so wet, and this is his super busy time at work, so he gets to it when he can, and weather permits.
No one out there has pristine lawns or manicured properties. Some look nicer than others.
When he gets done, I go back through and get what catches in the shrubs and landscaping.
He gets the big stuff, I do more of the detail clean up.
