Even if I had, I prob wouldn't have this early.
Isn't this early for the flu??
School has started, probably not too early ;)

Nite Dale, sweet dreams. Hope you sleep well tonight.

It might be. I haven't had the flu in more than 8 years if ever. The year the kiddo was born his dr advised we all get them. He will be 8 next month. We got them every year up to last year. Never had any issues til last year.

Kiddo didn't feel good all that day. The next night he had a seizure. No history in either side of family for seizures. All tests came back normal. Nothing since that night. It will be a year next month. Needless to say we are hesitant to get any more flu shots. In reality we know the shot didn't cause that but contributed to the perfect storm of conditions which led up to the seizure.
    Oh, gosh...couldn't "like" that. :(

I think they told me that I could get a "mild" form of the flu I'd been vaccinated for, but it wasn't mild as far as I'm concerned.

I had H1N1, back in ? 2009, I didn't actually get the test for it because I didn't go to the doctor.
The woman I work with and I had come down with it the same week. I was about three days ahead of her. I didn't go to the doctor because I waited too long and they told me that the Tamiflu shot wouldn't do anything, that I'd have to ride it out.
She actually went to the doctor when she came down with it after I did, she tested positive for it, got the shot, and I think it might have curbed maybe 1 day for her.

What I had was very similar to the H1N1, but I didn't have temps as high with this. I never went over 100.6 this past week. I think I skirted just under 102 with H1N1...and didn't really move from the couch for three days with it.
This was bad, but not that bad.

Well got a good bit of my stuff packed today, there are a couple of drop leaf tables and dresser in the van. Still plenty to pack. Went to wallyworld and picked up a microwave, phone, tv, dish drainer, trash cans, pots, can opener and such as well as some groceries. Good news they are in the van and not getting unloaded til I get to the tiny house! Then we went to visit the grand girls and DS. Home now with lots to do yet...
