I haven't been out since lunch, it now says we're at 90 with a feels like of 102. 63% humidity...yuck.
Your temps aren't too far off from mine. Ugly, isn't it? I can't stand the high heat and humidity.

We often skirt/match temps in the far southern states, sometimes even deep south areas like the Florida Keys, but we rarely have the higher humidity levels.
We tend to really think it's humid here unless you check and compare the deep South.

Right now, we're slightly warmer than Key West, just 1% lower in humidity.
It's kind of a misconception that since we're further N (around St. Louis) that we're cooler.
Well, we just hit 96 with a feels like of 106. I've been to St. Louis a couple times and know it gets sticky up there. My nephew lives there and the rest of my nieces and nephews live in Springfield. It definitely gets hot and sticky there. According to the weather, our humidy isnt bad, 45%. Feels a lot worse though.

That's just gross temps.
Oh, small world. :)
I think the dew point has something to do with how miserable the humidity feels, but I'd have to Google.

It's hot here too! We just got back from Wally World to get dog food. From now on all shopping needs to be done by 10:00 AM! And we really need to find more affordable dog food. When you have dogs that weigh in over 100 lbs, and 5 dogs total, you really need to find good dog food but at a good price!
Time to start dinner. I think we eat less than our fur babies!

Look for a local feed store/co-op. Many of them have a local brand that's much cheaper when buying in bulk. When I was in the breeding biz, I generally went through over 800 pounds of dog food a month. Getting it through the local feed store was a huge cost saver.

Paul, summer has officially arrived.

Hey LoriP. I taught high school Spanish. Which was amazing because when they hired me to teach it I didn't speak any Spanish at all! I was certified for history and sociology but it was a week till school started and they didn't have a Spanish teacher
I had to learn Spanish really fast and 20 years later I am glad I learned. I have to admit that I would go back to teaching if I could teach sociology :)
    FOUND IT!!
Cool!! My Spanish is limited to about 6 words...
One evening a couple years ago, I walked into the Mexican Restaurant in the little next town over, said "Ola", to the manager who is always sooooooooo nice and friendly. He came back with a very long reply in Spanish, and there I was, like a deer in the headlights.
I said...oh, um....I don't really *know* Spanish, beyond hello....he laughed his rear end off!!
Then he was so nice to explain what he'd said.

The time stamp of one of my posts, and your reply is exactly the same, guess I should have refreshed and read back. :)

    You're very welcome Chili ;)

    You've had neither?!

    She told you Spanish :?:
    I've eaten now.
DH got home from Washington DC just a little before I got home, so I was visiting with him. :)

    Spanish! Not too personal Chica!
