When I lived in Brooklyn NY my dad would take me to Coney Island beach before we would head home we would hit Nathan's for hot dogs, knishes, fries and clams on the half shell. I can buy nathan's hot dags and fries but no knishes around here. I have not had any for at least 20 years

Just saw in our local store that they sell that exact item! They sell them in a 4 pack for 5.69. Might have to check them out next time I head to HEB.

Lunchtime flyby...has been a crazy couple of days at work...it's just been me and the boss...one coworker has been flooded and stuck at her house and the other one, her son had a wreck yesterday morning and totaled their other car, so she's been dealing with that...the boss told them both to stay home again today...boss didn't want any of us out delivering payroll in this nasty weather, so she's doing it herself...guess she doesn't want to take the chance of any worker's comp claims if something were to happen.
I have to think on it, cart needs to beat $50 and the shipping is going to be over $20

I am sitting watching the morning news and having my coffee. I really need to get up and going soon to go get some ice. Our refrigerator went out on Sunday and we have been living out of coolers since then. Our new fridge will finally be here tomorrow

Now that I am retired I have started watching Chopped and I have no idea what most of the ingredients are! I have a hard time making tacos and chicken fried steak.
