@daleron (or anyone else who is interested, Lol's)
None of this may be new, but still thought I'd share. :)
I haven't ordered yet, waiting for it to not be near 90 degree temps...ugh.
How to Use Oregano & Oregano Oil for Improved Health
    Yep, it's good stuff ;)
Just don't take it straight

    Good afternoon lovely lurkers.

Paul, sorry you're not feeling well after the tests...sending healing vibes for you and positive prayers for good results...hope you feel better soon. :nun:

Glad to hear Elly is feeling better...hope she can finally get some real food here soon.

Hope Rita's tummy settles and that she feels better soon too.

So that lightening strike yesterday burned a whole through the roof and one of the walls in the building diagonally across the street from us...the whole street was without internet until right before I left for the day...which sucked for us because almost everything we do is internet based...Boss never came back to the office, she got stuck in her council meeting for the rest of the day, so we didn't have our meeting yet...was fine with me...made for a quiet afternoon because couldn't really do much so for the first time in a long time I was able to take it easy. ;)

Took the car in for the oil change and had the a/c looked at...as I kept telling the bf, there is something wrong with it...this place wanted way too much to repair it, but they were just charging $10 to give it a look and let us know what was wrong...now we can take it to our mechanic here and he'll get it fixed for about a 1/4 of what this shop wanted. That just means I'll either have to take a day off work to bring the car here to get it worked on, or rent a car and leave it here...leaning towards renting a car.
    Hi Angel
Hope you can get your car fixed quickly, it's too hot to do without A/C.
Fan quit on mine on the way home this afternoon

    Good afternoon Angel.
Wow, that's scary being so close!!
We're kind of in a tough spot if we loose internet too. Not so much me, but for some of the others.
So far, so good. She hasn't thrown up since this a.m., going to feed her a little in just a minute.
Trying to keep some food on her stomach hoping that will help.
She seems content/normal now, and she's smelling A LOT better. In fact, no smell that I've noticed at all. So that has to be a good sign that something is helping...keeping fingers crossed that it won't refill, until later on as normal. :)

Also so sorry you're dealing with a/c troubles with your car still! I'd prob have already rented one. :)
Hopefully they can get you in and get it fixed fast. :nun:
Hope Rita doesn't have stomach problems, sounds like everything else is good :thumb:

Good afternoon everyone. Home from the amusement park. Survived two coasters. Lol. Kiddo is only tall enough for a few of them. Spent the afternoon in the water park. Glad to be home. All that fresh air has made me super tired.

Hopefully Rita is keeping her food down this afternoon, glad she's smelling better ;) and that's great news that Elly snuggled with you, Dale, this morning.

Hope you can get the ac fixed soon, Angel.

Fresh corn for dinner. First of the season, can't wait.
Wheee! No roller coasters for me! I rode one ONCE  Me no likey!!

I kept looking at all the pretty fresh corn today ... trying not to eat it for a while

Hahah. They definitely aren't for everyone. Only three people in my family enjoy them and only two went today. Thank goodness I was able to handle it like a champ or kiddo would have been so disappointed.

None of the local farms had corn until yesterday :( They all did their first picking yesterday, which I'm pretty sure is late for around here. Those poor farmers.

Oh no Dale, not your a/c too! You're right, it's way too hot to go without a/c...and we all know what a delicate flower I am, so can't have that. :p:laugh:...Hope yours isn't serious and that it's a cheap fix for you.

Sara, sounds like a fun day with kiddo...bet you are worn out though...does that mean an early bedtime for you tonight?;)

Oh yeah, fan's been messed up for a year or better but two settings worked ... until today.
    There's no such thing as a cheap fix on a vehicle A/C unit :rolleyes: It's a luxury don't'cha'know :rolleyes::rolleyes:

    Hiya Lori.
Glad Rita seems content now and that she's smelling better!! :D...Hopefully she'll be able to keep her food down. ;)

Yeah, I'm already looking at rental cars...bf is stubborn...since he pays for all repairs on the car, he doesn't like to fix something until he's practically smacked over the head with it...what finally convinced him that the a/c wasn't working right and got him to agree to get it checked, was last weekend when I brought the princess over and he saw how hot and sweaty she was just riding over here....so then he finally realized I wasn't just complaining for nothing.
Nothing like a hot, sweaty child to make a believer outta someone. :)

Sounds like a RED Letter day for sure!!
I haven't seen fresh garden corn around yet, but I haven't been to local farmer's markets.
The one I go to by work has things trucked in, or gets things from the St. Louis Market.
I missed the Arkansas tomatoes yesterday. :( They have other local things though. Honey, bread, BACON...all sorts of stuff. They had some local blackberries too, I got some of those last week. A man who retired last year brought in zucchini, and some (tart) blackberries, already processed and frozen....the berries, not the squash. Lol's. ;)

    Yep, it's good stuff ;)

No, I don't think she's having stomach problems. She didn't tolerate it last time we tried, and they said that it's not unusual at all for them not to be able to take it...smaller breed dogs...I think.
So far so good today. She's had it twice. Second time was between 4-4:30.

    Sorry your fan quit.
