Lori, have you been checked for gallstones? My memory is bad and I don't remember your symptoms. I do remember thinking food poisoning. Is it just severe pain? I think I remember you said no vomiting? I had to have gallstones removed and then a week later the gallbladder removed when I was in my twenties.

I'm having all the classic gallbladder symptoms. I'm hoping one isn't stuck in the duct.
I had one other time this happened, a couple years ago, I thought it was food poisoning then, but it was more like what I'm having now.
Just lots of pressure in my abdomen, and it's not gas.
Below are common symptoms of gallbladder conditions:
Severe abdominal pain - YES, but it comes and goes.
Pain that may extend beneath the right shoulder blade or to the back - sometimes
Pain that worsens after eating a heavy meal, particularly fatty or greasy foods - yesterday
Pain that feels dull, sharp, or crampy - YES - comes and goes.
Pain that increases when you breathe in deeply - not really, but bending sucks.
Heartburn, indigestion, and excessive gas - no
Chest pain - no
A feeling of fullness in the abdomen - yesterday
Vomiting, nausea, fever - no, last night, very low grade
Shaking with chills - no
Tenderness in the abdomen, particularly the right upper quadrant - a little
Jaundice (yellowing of the skin and eyes) - no
Stools of an unusual color (often lighter, like clay) and dark urine, or both - no
It's hard to explain, because it sounds like it would just be gas, but it's not, it's similar, but different.
One woman in the comments section below an article I read stated that two of her childbirths were easier than her gallbladder attacks were.

I did have a stone in the duct, they did an endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography or ERCP (scope down throat) and removed the stone. Then about a week later I keeled over in the Home Depot in so much pain, ended up in the ER again and walla, they removed the gallbladder and appendix too for good measure.

My nephew and his wife said that ALL produce gets sprayed before transport, even if it's organic.
Nephew and his wife said it's pretty much the law, because of invasive and or dangerous insects.
(they were into super healthy eating for several years)
The produce guy at Dierbergs said no, if it's organic, it's not been sprayed.
...so, I don't know which to believe, just passing on what's been discussed in my family.
I was following Customs and Border Patrol for awhile on Twitter. They would spot check, all sorts of shipments and post pics of stuff that got caught and refused at the border.
Before Valentine's Day, they were inspecting flowers.
My nephew was telling me about a You Tube documentary/video about bananas, and to only buy organic bananas because in all these third world countries where they grow the bananas, the people who work the fields (banana farms) live all along the edges of the farms, the crop dusters come in and spray and don't care if little kids are in the yard or not.
He said the guy doing the documentary was showing how sick the kids were, and how some had birth defects.
I didn't go look for it, his descriptions were enough for me.
Organic bananas aren't that much more expensive, so I do buy them when I have the choice.
...if we knew half the *real* stories out there regarding our food supply, we'd prob have a hard time eating much of it.

I forgot to say, the tests that I had to do first were non invasive, upper GI and pancreatic sonogram. I really hope the home remedies work and you feel better tomorrow.
