Think I need to call it a night too...was up way too late last night and I'm really tired...need to unwind a bit first though...sweet dreams lovely lurkers.
She said it most helpful with nausea after having general anesthesia.Oh my!!! I had no idea that you were going through all this!!!! I'm so thankful you're done and doing good.
I never have to worry about my appendix, they removed that back with my first colon cancer. A twofer
Good trick with the alcohol pads. I only get nauseous the first day after my pump is disconnected. Two tiny pills, one every 6 hours, has been all that I've needed.....so far. I take one Saturday afternoon and another later that night. I haven't had to take one on Sunday the last 2 sessions.
They give me an anti nausea med in my line before getting the big bad boy chemo. That lasts about 3 days. I take a pill before it wears off so I've not had any problems feeling sick.

Thanks, me too!Yep, already put covers on them so the pups can't mess them up...and the pups both have a beauty appointment for Friday before they get here so they can be all pretty and smelling nice.
Oh happy news!...So glad all went well...hoping you have a quick and easy recovery...just don't try to overdo things too soon.

Sorry for those who didn't sleep well. My alarm gets me up at 4:25, but I got up a few times last night and slept well past the alarm. Is it Friday yet? Ugh! Still 2 more to go after today.

Feeling pretty good, waiting for some Tylenol that was just ordered. I didn't want anything habit forming. I think I will go home this morning, sounds like it anyway!
Pending the blood work from earlier this morning.
How about my O2 levels are running 99%! Haven't had a real cig in almost 5 years, but smoked for a little over 30 years.

As for pain, it's not terrible, but I have some tenderness for sure.
I'm having some drainage this morning. I'm sure from dry air. Coughing to clear that is the pits, as is getting in and out of bed, and bending.

Well you just had surgery, plus the nurses probably did not help coming in every hour to check your vitals
You will sleep better when you get home to your own bed, glad you are doing better
