Crazy day at work...we have no phones or fax...apparently the guys who were trimming trees for the power company yesterday messed up our lines...and now the phone company is telling us Saturday before they can send someone out...I don't think so...we're a freaking business and need our dang phones...UGH!...Although has made for a quieter day on the other hand.

Hard power off, hold power button and home button until it shows the shutdown slider, and then keep holding the buttons. After a while the screen will completely turn black.
Now press the power button to boot the machine up.

Kind of like a hard shut down on your computer where you press and hold the button that turns it on, only on the ipad, you have to hold them both at the same time to get them to hard shut down.
Not sure how good I am at explaining that.
or, is your wi-fi security kicking your ipad off?? Maybe sign off your wi-fi and then back on.

What OBG says. I've never touched our wi-fi anything. DH takes care of it...I'm clueless.There is a problem with my wifi security... I can sign off but not sure I know how to sign back on ... pw
We had a little here too...and some good rain, and a little wind, but nothing severe.It's raining and going BOOM a lot outside
