Am glad to see that most of the FL members have been able to check in and report ppl fine and minimal losses so far. If there is some thing we can do to assist them please let us know.

. I'm whooped. It's been a long, hard day. Going to watch a little TV and hit the sack pretty quick. It was a beautiful day today here, too. But it's getting warmer each day. Supposed to be back into the 90's in a couple of days
. Oh, well, I'll live with it.
I was certainly happy to see so many of my Florida friends checking in on Facebook and the forum. Glad it didn't turn out as bad as it certainly could have been.

Just a few shingles off the garbage portion of the roof. They shouldn't have come off. The house is only 8 months old and was supposed to withstand a Cat3. It's a hip roof too. Those are supposed to be better. At least for insurance purposes they are. (In hurricane zones)
We will be contacting the builder. House structure is under warranty for a year.

Robin, considering the amount of widespread destruction, I'm so glad to hear that is the extent of the damage, but I agree, I'd let the contractor pay for that fix.

It absolutely could have been worse. I'm truly thankful that this is all we are having to deal with. I'm just treating it all like an adventure
