But where we're at fared very well.
Our view for our last night.
We're staying at a local place, very reasonable.
Something like $130 per night. On the water.
There's a very small, but perfectly nice little beach to the left of the above picture.
There's a family there with small children, so I didn't take a picture.
One bedroom, kitchenette, sitting room, and a screened in porch.
I took the pic from just outside of the screened porch.
Older place, but nice and casual island setting.
We'll have a sunset view if it's not cloudy.

Hello Lurkers! I have been somewhat absent lately because I have been super busy. Some of you know from prior threads that I had a family member who has been away for a very long time and he is now home. He knows nothing about smart phones, tablets or the world as we know it and the last 3 weeks have been really crazy. I have also been busy with our dog Mya. It has still been touch and go but she seems to be getting better this last week
I just want you all to know how much I have missed having time here on the forum

...my someone is supposed to be coming home next month, as long as nothing happens in the meantime...keeping fingers crossed.Has been a not so good weekend so far...had to take bf's mom to hospital last night with chest pains...after lots of tests and stuff, they couldn't find anything wrong and the one test they need to do they can't do until Monday, so she came home a little while ago...she's still saying her chest hurts though...so now have to worry about her all weekend until she can get tested Monday...she's resting now, but we are keeping a very close eye on her...any prayers, good vibes, etc. would be appreciated for her.
