 Thank you!!
I used to have a scroll frame...probably still do somewhere with the rest of my stash...pretty sure mine was a Rolaframe, but I could be wrong about that, been a long time...and Huntsville is where I lived when I was in high school (yes, we know ancient history :p)...was nice to have...enjoy!
I saw it in a review on You Tube by a long time stitcher, she's been stitching since she was a young girl, something like 30 years stitching. She had been a long time user of another scroll frame, but what made this one different was that you could order different sizes for the side bars, and that it had the tacks instead of using velcro or having to whip stitch/sew your fabric to the fabric on the scroll rod.

Thanks! I hope I'll like it. I didn't order a stand yet. Not sure I want to sit in a seated position, I kind of lay on the sofa and stitch, not sure how that'll work out just yet lol's, but they also have a lap frame ($$$:oops:) to set the scroll frame on, but that might have to be for Christmas or something.

Well, if you lived in Huntsville, it's prob a Rolaframe. I think that's the only place they've sold out of.
Not sure if this is the original owner though.

Angel, I'll tell you the ones I can't figure out are the ones who stitch in hand.
I tried it and it just felt tooooooooo freaking weird....course those that stitch in hand feel the same way about hoops or scroll frames.

I *wish* I could, I've tried it a few times.
That's what the ones that stitch in hand say too.
I think it's so interesting that what feels so *right* for one person, feels so unnatural for another.
The one gal that I follow who makes all sorts of pretty cross stitch has never used a hoop or a frame. That's what got me to try it. I'd never heard of stitching in hand.
Well, some mending, yes...but not needle work (embroidery, needlepoint, cross stitch, etc.)
Course, I'm self taught, (help mercy) No telling what I don't know.

    Oh good. :nun:

    Same here.

Guess it's time to say good night, I know most of you have to work tomorrow:(

Good night lovely and handsome Lurkers
That would be me having to work tomorrow, but I think I'll have my normal days off this week.
Dental cleaning Thurs., so off Thurs. for sure.

No 404's. When I get them, they go away when I refresh. Haven't really caused me any problems, just an occasional annoyance, but refresh has worked so far.

    Sweet dreams Dale.
Guess I will sign off too. Sweet dreams all.

    Good morning, Lurkers

Angel, so glad that you made out well in that hurricane!
Biscuits and gravy!! Yes! That's what I had for breakfast yesterday. Food of the gods!

Managed to get my yard all mowed yesterday. I keep thinking it's going to be the last one of the season, but our periodic rains and hot, sunny weather keep it growing. They are calling for a cold front coming down later this week. Not much of one. They just said it may cool things down about 10 degrees or so. But for today, they are talking about possibly breaking a heat record. Yuck! I'll be in the pool this afternoon after work.

Hope you all have a great Monday!

Good morning Paul, Dale, and the sleeping Lurkers.

Paul, I hope you and Dale cool off some.
We're cooling down a bit on Wed.
83 is the forecast high for today, cooler at night.
Nighttime temps are mid 50's to 64 degrees for this week. :)
    Nice nighttime temps.
Chance of rain a few days this week, but Oct. is usually a month we get a bit of rain.

    Guess I'd better get moving...don't wanna...:nah:.
Have a good day all. :)
